[tararea]
Letra en inglés: Sleep, sleep, beautiful child, sleep, sleep, free from worry and pain, sleep, sleep, free from worry and pain. [tararea]
Historians estimate that despite enormous obstacles, between 20,000 and 30,000 Jews joined partisan units in the forests, from where they carried out daring raids and rescue operations. Members of the United Partisan Organization (FPO) took part in the liberation of Vilna alongside the Red Army.

“WHAT DO YOU WANT, IKAL?” he’s angry. he doesn’t know why he’s angry, but he is. it feels like he’s always angry these days, as if this is the only option left available to him, as if he might give too much away if, for even a fraction of a second, he’s anything but angry. he shouldn’t take it out on ikal, ikal doesn’t deserve that, but he’s been roaming around the ship for the last couple days like a stormcloud set to burst and he’s actually surprised it hasn’t come up, yet.
he heaves another crate out of the corner and deposits it in the middle of the cargo bay with several others, a dulled thud resounding through the floor’s grating. sweat drips from his brow but he ignores it, eyes narrowed at ikal for a moment before he returns to the corner for another heavy crate. “we’re landing soon.”
“IKAL.” the dim lights in the walkway meant it was night, but eli wasn’t sure if it was late or early or somewhere in between and it stopped mattering when something new popped up on the ship’s radar. he could have just as easily raised ikal over the comms, but he’d already thrown himself down the ladder to the crew quarters. he banged hard on ikal’s door, pulse racing probably far faster than was actually necessary. “ikal, wake up! something’s happening!” @partisanos

❝ let me take a look… ❞
CARING SENTENCE STARTERS: accepting!
❛ IT’S OKAY-- really, ❜ He doesn’t know why he is so resistant to being helped; the wound on his face is considerably prominent, and what’s more, still fresh. Perhaps it is another case of the shock of battle leaving him in a less than rational mental state. He can feel his heart racing still, his knuckles whitened from their vice grip on the controls of his X-Wing. It hurts to even move them.
But the insistent, increasingly impatient gaze of the other is enough to make him acquiesce. Luke frowns and sits still, allowing the medic to come close enough to wipe the wound clean with a disinfectant cloth. A slow, shaky breath is exhaled before he works up the nerve to look him in the eye.
❛ I’m sorry. Thank you. ❜
