you might be thinking of kaldrad branislav, he went to jail for “inciting racial hatred” and owning a bunch of weapons or smth
so i think i've confused the nsbm-ness of Branikald with the ambient Burzum-ness of another russian bm band. the dude from this other band was definitely jailed for murder, i think the bands name was either winter related or something winter related but in german, but now im not so sure about any nsbm ties
