"You have to let me help you, Dean." Cas said slowly, approaching him as though he were a rabid animal. Dean tried to be casual but the bodies of twelve demons surrounded him and he was soaked in blood.
"I can't."
"Yes you can. You can." Cas said, nodding. "You think you're beyond saving? That's impossible. Let me help you."
"I'm not worth saving, Cas." Dean insisted.
"I don't believe that."
Dean let out a harsh laugh. "It's true."
"Don't shut me out. I can do this. I pulled you out of hell, I can make this right."
Dean shook his head and backed up to a wall. "Don't, Cas."
"I can help you-"
"Leave it!"
"Don't do this, Dean, we can fix this!"
Those words echoed in the silent warehouse, shocking them both.
"It's not broken, Cas." Dean recited. "It's who I am."
