Vanna started to recall the black mist and remembered what they formed into.

“Wait you both saw that?”

Xand and Sage nodded as Rover and Raptor also nodded.

‘We all saw it master; she looked ready to kill…’

Vanna felt disheartened yet confused on how they saw that.

“She didn’t want to kill me… She told me to get away…”

Xand looked to Sage and pointed to her cut off leg.

“And that says different”

Sage looked to Xand and shook her head.

“No! She wanted me to get away… I just didn’t listen…”

Xand blinked and looked to Vanna.

“She told you the same?”

Vanna nodded and started to feel a bit sad.

“We didn’t listen… Are we at fault…?”

Raptor was seemingly whining to himself as Rover lowered his ears down.

“I say the one at fault is that man!”

Vanna looked to Sage speaking out and tried to smile but she felt at fault for what happened.

“Yeah… Anyway, let’s try to cheer up huh?”

Sage tried to cheer up Vanna, but it was proving slightly difficult.

“Why don’t we see what is on the tv?”

Xand flicked the tv on and scanned through the channels.

“Hey look”

Xand puts on a channel which was a marathon on Parodian Dreama to which Sage and Vanna started to watch.

“Eek!”

Vanna squirmed slightly as a female on the show got her eye ripped out of her socket.

“You could say she… Didn’t see it coming”

Xand tried to make a pun to try and loosen up the tension to which Vanna looked over and gave the faintest snicker.

“Eye see what you did there, master”

Sage joined in on making a pun to which Vanna snickered again, Rover and Raptor decided to join in on it.

‘Well that was a very cornea’

Vanna started to giggle as Rover made a pun, Raptor blinked.

‘Can’t keep an eye on things anymore, don’t get a head of yourself’

Vanna started to laugh as Sage giggled and Xand chuckled.

“Does that feel slightly better?”

Vanna nodded before looking over to the pillow and blanket pile.

“Slightly, but I hope this could get sorted out…”

Vanna sighed as Xand looked over to the nap area.

“Maybe… But for now, maybe some space would be needed in this situation… Try to relax ok?”

Vanna smiled softly and nodded.

“Anyway, someone needs to be a bit more careful”

Volstagg knocked before coming in. "They are doing well...

'Aye." He answered glancing up quickly moon standing in the chair behind him sucking on her thumb playing with his hair. "And you?"

"Well." He chuckled. "Missing my own little ones." He knelt down to pat Alaska on the head.

"They are the only thing keeping me sane at the moment. Them and the others, but they have secluded themselves."  He smiled as Alaska cooed into the touch. "How many do you have?"

He laughed. "Fourteen?"

"More than Lies and I." He chuckled. "I'm impressed."

"I love my wife." He grinned

"I can tell."

He laughed

Image leaned back some being sure not to squish Moon.

"I heard Loki was doing better."

"He is." Image instantly smiled. "Not fully but he is starting to smile again."

He nodded. "You have helped."

"I am trying to make things go as smooth as I can, Not sure how much help it really is, with my track record."

"More then you know."

"How do you hold faith in me?"

"Because I knew Loki before he knew you...and its night and day."

"I never saw him as what he was calling himself. if anything he was my savior."

"Oh?"

"I could not be in my apartment, my creator's memories would be triggered there. And where was a clone supposed to go. I bumped into Lies.... litterly. And he took me in. Saved me."

"Is that how you two ended up together."

"Its how we found each other. As he started teaching me simple things, how to cook basic meals, understand what a joke was, feelings grew. But we did not admit them until after we found out about moon. Gray face spell."

"Grey face?"

"A magical being. Uses magic to do many things good and Bad. Changed me into a bunny, Lies into a Fennic fox. Gave us Moon, Made it Lies's child."

"And it all clicked?"

He smiled.

"Who knew a walk would lead to this, A family larger than life and really feeling not just for the first time but so fully."

He chuckled softly. "That's how I felt about Hilde."

"Oh?"

"Aye. She is the light of my life."

Image smiled. "So you understand how I feel about Lies

"Yes."

He relaxed a little more, snatching moon from behind him, she hummed in protest. "How old are your kids?"

"Goodness. They range from 16 to 2."

"Nearly one every year"

"Aye."

"Blessings on your wife."

"She's a good woman."

"I am sure that she is."

"One day I'll see if you two can't meet."

"Meet me?"

"Aye. Why not?"

Its not something that people normally offer. "

"Sure it is."

"Not to me"

"No?"

"I was a clone. Made for a purpose. When Lies took me in I was so surprised."

"...what are you now?"

"A husband, and a father" He said simply. "Lies freed me from my creator and gave me a new body. I don't know if I am a clone or an exclone."

"I'd say an exclone."

"If I may ask.... Why?"

"You are your own person, completely separate from any Loki's magic."

Image made a face. "Lies took some of the Creator's magic when he exhumed me. So I guess I am connected..." He sighed. "I don't know."

"Its your magic now."

He hummed. "I suppose it is now, I have it.... any way."

"Aye."

"Give me time, I will accept everything in time. Now I need to focus on the children and Lies."

Volstagg nods

"I apologize that you are away from your family."

"Its for a good cause."

 “Does your wife think so?"

He nodded. "Loki has helped her a number of times

He smiled some, "It is good to hear others have not given up on him."

"How could we. When my second youngest was sick he came over and stayed all night nursing her back the health."

"That would be something Lies would do" Image continued to smile

"We would of lost her if not for him."

"He is good with healing, Amazing in truth. I am happy to hear she is well now."

Volstagg nodded, smiling. "She wants to be a healer because of him."

"Does Lies know that? I think he would love to hear that."

"No...he doesn't."

"Maybe tell him? if anything, a reminder of the good he has done."

He nodded

"Up to you" As Image spoke Moon wrapped her arms around his neck and hung lymp there. "Sleepy?"

He laughed softly. "Poor lamb. Wore herself out."

"She often does." Image spoke rubbing her back. "Not sleepy." She protested.

he chuckled

"not at all." Image agreed with her. "So hang on and see how long you last." He offered a smile to Vaolstagg. "I am surprised the other's are doing well. Alaska is the only of the babies to see Lies so far. I think is is a pack thing. if they are together, they are alright."

"You should bring them all. I think it would make him happy."

When I go back, if the kids are awake then I will." He spoke counting to rub moon's back. "I have not wanted to overwhelm him, and I know the mount of kids could do that."

"Or for him it could heal him."

"I thought about that, my challenge is that he did not want to see them when the other kids saw him. And I understand they are sensitive to emotions." He sighed. "I wish I knew all the answers”

"Sometimes you have to go with your gut."

"I can trust any one that asks of it, trusting my self is realms harder."

"I know Lad."

He ran on hand over his hair as moon fell asleep her grip failing. Image caught her and he stood. "It means I am thinking, and it makes me another step away from what I was. And that is good, but scary."

"Image..."

"I apologize, I should not have said anything."

"You needed too."

He shook his head. "It is not about what I need right now."

"It is actually. About what you both need."

Placing the ring in the playpen to sleep he picked up Adair. "I need my husband to be alright."

"I know."

"I apologize again. I am worried is all." he continued hugging his son closer to him.

"I know boyo."

He kissed his son's cheek and sighed. "I don't mean to come off rude."

He laughed. "I'm use to Loki's sharp tongue. Don't worry about it."

He nodded and gave another sigh. "Aye, still I am not short tempered I can assure you."

"I know." He smiled

"If I may ask.... What madr you talk to me? its been a few days...."

"Looked like you needed a friend."

"You are very kind."

"I'm the only here besides lady frigga who's married and understands."

He nodded more. "Aye, And the two of you do understand the most."

He smiled and patted his shoulder. "Loki should be up and eating."

"With Frigga yes? I want to give them their time."

"I don't think it would hurt for you to join them. Come. I'll walk with you."

Pausing Image nodded. "Babies?"

"Let them sleep for now."

He nodded and placed Adair in the crib with his siblings and nodded for him to lead the way.
