Enjoy this Ham and Swiss Parmesan Croissant Melt Burger, it's so tasty. There is Swiss cheese, ham, arugula, and a perfectly poached egg on top of the croissant. There is also crispy Parmesan cheese on top to add more flavor and texture. It takes a simple burger and makes it more gourmet.
Ingredients: 1 croissant, split in half. 2 slices of Swiss cheese. 2 slices of ham. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1 egg. 1 cup arugula. 1 tablespoon butter. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Warm up the broiler in your oven. Put the cut side of the croissant halves on a baking sheet. Put a slice of Swiss cheese on top of each half of the croissant. For one to two minutes, or until the cheese melts and bubbles, broil the dish in the oven. Take it out of the oven and set it aside. Set the butter in a small pan over medium-low heat. For about two minutes, keep stirring the grated Parmesan cheese in the pan until it starts to turn golden brown and crispy. Take it off the heat and set it aside. Poach the egg in a different pan until it's done the way you like it. In order to make the burger, put a ham slice on the bottom half of the croissant. The poached egg and arugula should be put on top. On top of the egg, sprinkle the crunchy Parmesan cheese. Add pepper and salt to taste. To finish the burger, put the top half of the croissant on top. Serve right away and enjoy!
