Parker advertised this 4 3/4 inch long lever filling pen as “Parkette made by Parker" selling for only $1.25 and the matching pencil was only 75 cents. Individual pens and pencils were sold on easel cards and sets sold for $1.95. Also available in Black, Green and Grey with gold plated trim. The clip, cap top and barrel end have a stepped design. The barrel is stamped PARKETTE over MADE IN U S A PAT. PEND. over BY PARKER PEN CO, JANESVILLE, WIS. next to 34, indicating the manufacturing date. The stainless steel nib was gold plated and is stamped PARKETTE over MADE IN U. S. A. over 9, a later date stamp indicating 1939.
