who: @walshparker when: casino night, near the end of the evening where: heading back towards the dorms
Mari slipped out of the back of the hall where the Casino fundraiser was being held, convincing Link she was fine to get herself home. Which she was. She didn’t need a babysitter, stumbling around or not. It was just...something she ate affected her stomach, that was it. But she still didn’t want to make her way back through the main room, not sure who was still there (her father, included) and not wanting to risk being seen, looking decidedly less put together when than when she had arrived. On the path back, arms wrapped around her frame to grab her opposite elbows, heels dangling loosely from one finger and hem dragging on the ground, she heard the sound of footsteps, glancing up and seeing a recognizable head of red hair walking in her direction, their paths about to cross where they had to make a turn towards the dorms. She hadn’t wanted to see anyone, but she supposed there was no avoiding it now, a small smile coming across her face in greeting towards Parker. “Hey,” Mari said, her voice slightly hoarse. “How was your night?”
