But until I saw this, this guy turning around his own stereo speakers, to play John Lenon's Imagine, not just in his apartment, but out the window to the crowd below so they could hear it, until I saw his video of the crowd hearing him do that, I did not really understand how big it was, or anything what it was like. you know the whole "fangirl mode I don't sleep anymore I close a tumblr tab and I end up reopening an other one"

Thanks to recent events in France and how Tumblr had handle it so badly I realized that I'm french before I am a blogger

I am very disappointed. You guys, god, I thought we were a family you know, a bunch of geeky kids all around the world with the same interests and standing up for each other

I was there guys, for ferguson, for the newtown shooting, the swedish shooting, mexico, in brazil, hong kong, Leelah.. I was there.

This week I needed you, French bloggers needed you, but nobody was there we were on our own

Few people knew about us, and most of the ones who knew where just blaming the victims

Do you even know what charlie was about ? You knew there were all there that day for a meeting against racism. And they killed them. A black women and a muslim guy were shoot too. And the next day, they killed jews, Why ? Because they were jews. It's like wold war II again. How can you not care about it. You will be wounded by this too. It will not stop there.

Yesterday there was the golden globes, you know how many people talk about us, about what was happening at the very same moment ? 8.

You know during french interviews there are all like "omg I love france, I feel french you know I drink wine and eat cheese and baguette…"

But when 4 millions of french people were at that march, where were you ?

And you, tumblr people, Brad Pitt, Benedict Cumberbatch, or Jensen Ackles aren't going to save your rights or freedom you know

I love them but they don't seem to care about what is happening 

Would have been killed tumblr to put a little black cross on the top of the title ?

You know when we were out there we weren't just there for us, we were fighting for your rights too

You muslims, jews, christians, blacks, women, gays, we were fighting for you too, for your freedom as much as ours

You all talk about social justice but yesterday was the biggest social justice event of the last 40 years and where were you ?

Do you think terrorism will stop at our borders, that you are all safe out there

No, you aren't. We have to be all unit because they don't care who you are, who you pray, what is the color of your skin or even who you fuck, they will attack all of us if we don't do anything

And you, americans bloggers, do I really have to talk about 9/11 ? Because you should have been the first standing up with us yesterday, you know how it feels, you know how bad it is, don't let that happened again.

So yeah we may be a bunch of nerds, but I thought we were a family, apparently we aren't

You are glad when we fight for you but nobody seems to want to fight for us

And it makes me really sad, I thought we were buddies but in reality we are what we are a nerd alone behind a computer, pretending to know stuff  we don't
