Still no further forward with securing accomodation in Paris :''(
Has anyone ever used se loger before as a company? They want me to open an account with 12 months worth of rent secured as a guarantee should I default on monthly payments?! : /
Housing update.
I will now eat humble pie for going on and on and on about the trials of finding accommodation in Paris because today, the glass is half full! I just got an email from Science Po saying that someone has cancelled a spot in the temporary student housing and I have 5 weeks of accommodation registered under my name. I am such a wally, but my goodness was all of this organised at late notice. Although my nerves have had a good prod from the ongoing drama (my irrational fear of having to become a gypsy or tramp due to lack of housing), I can now breath a sigh of relief :) If anyone is going to be a student in Paris, the place I applied for accommodation is called the CIUP and provides temporary housing for students when they arrive. Also, ignore the fact that the age requirement says 21 and is recommended for masters students as I'm sure (like me on both counts) they make the occasional exception.
