Parent Week starts today!
Please feel free to interact with or even rp (live ones only) with the parents of my muses for this whole week!
To get started thereâs some parent backstory under the cut!
Ace:
Colin was a traveling salesman. He went from village to village, including the village of a lovely girl named Elaine, the two fell in love and he took her with him until they decided to settle down. He still traveled, but stayed close to home, his wife and his son. He perished on the trip to Hyrule
Elaine was born in Hyrule and lived there her whole life. She had known Colin for years from when he visited her village. The two fell in love and she traveled with him for a little before settling down in his home village. There she became a school teacher. She perished trying to return to her homeland where she wanted Ace to grow up.
Amara is Aceâs adoptive mother who has taken care of him ever since the Gerudo found him. They still live together though, like Ace, she is often out on expeditions. Sheâs been with Ace through thick and thin.
Thelva:
Elvira, Thelvaâs birth mother, works in the Family village as a doctor, midwife and general healer. Like many of the Gerudo, she doesnât believe in using potions. Instead she uses herbs and other ingredients to make ointments and remedies to help her patients. However, she does have a few potions stashed away for severe emergencies. She doesnât often leave the village.
Amon, a retired Hyrulean soldier, is Thelvaâs father and now works as a nurse for Elvira. She rescued him once when he was wounded in Hyrule field, but left him there. He managed to impress her by finding her again which caught her attention then. He stays with his wife, helping her manage stock or heal patients.
Melody:
Bethany died during Melodyâs birth, a complication caused major internal bleeding. She met Jon at the highschool they attended together. The two had a pleasant, but distant relationship during that time. Years later, at a reunion, the two hit it off and got engaged after one month. They married after 3 years.
Jon is her father, once out of high school, he threw himself into college for business and engineering. He made a few inventions and patented them, then used the money to invest in small start up businesses. His wealth is all self made and in fact he was very poor as a child. The death of Bethany greatly affected him and heâs still not as over it as heâd like to believe.
Songbird:
Bany, Songbirdâs mother also died during childbirth. She was just another member of the flock. Full of life until the end, she had a taste for adventure and loved exploring the forest they called home. Her carefree nature is what caught Jahnâs attention.
Jahn is the grandson of the flock elder and Songbirdâs father. He had always been more flock oriented, choosing to stick closer to home, but once Bany showed him what is was like to explore, he went more often. Though he more did it to be near her. The next courtship, he courted her and was successful. Losing her was a huge blow to him, he became withdrawn and didnât notice his daughterâs adventurous spirit. She was snatched from a forest which was another devastating blow to him.Â
Lenard:
Alexandra is Lenardâs mother. She works part time to help pay for the lifestyle Kevin wants them all to have. While sheâs not happy about it, she loves Kevin enough to help him with his goal and enjoys the time they spend together. She feels as though Lenard squanders his good fortune and doesnât approve of his âlife styleâ (in other words, sheâs homophobic). She grew up in an area where homosexuality is very stigmatized and though she tries to hide it, she has trouble hiding it from Lenard.
Kevin is nearly as stern and over bearing as his brother, Jon. Jealous of his brotherâs success he tries to live vicariously through Lenard, pushing him to be successful and get their family out of their relative poverty. Theyâre not actually poor, but Kevin feels poor in comparison. Jon is his little brother and though Kevin got married and had a kid first he still feels as though he âlost a raceâ. He met Alexandra at a party and the two became friends, then lovers.
Dainan:
Inias, Dainanâs birth mother is a âdemonâ as well. Her form is that of a large vulture and she uses fire magic. While Iniasâ tribe and Vohnâs tribe donât get along, the two of them hit it off and had Dainan. However the two of them consider him âdefectiveâ and gave him up.
Vohn is Dainanâs birth father and his âdemonâ form is something akin to a golem made of rock and gems and metal. His magic affiliation is metal. Usually those from Iniasâ tribe destroy the ones from his own, but he was taken in by her raw power and fell for her.
Liana is Dainanâs adoptive mother and sheâs always raised him with a great degree of freedom. She lives and works on a farm with Destin and was very supportive of Dainan wanting to wander. She is barren and so was exited when Destin suggested they adopt.
Destin is head over heels in love with Liana. As Dainanâs adoptive father, heâs tried to support the boy as much as possible. He was a little hesitant to let Dainan wander by himself, plus having an extra hand on the farm was nice, but he relented without too much of a fuss. He actually looks forward to Dainanâs letters even more than his wife.
Galanthus:
Queen Ranunculus is not Galanthusâ mother, nor is she in a relationship with Anthurim. Her title is simply because sheâs the most powerful of the Ranunculus flower fairies.Â
King Anthurium, like the queen, is not Galanthusâ father but is simply the most powerful Anthurium flower fairy.
