Angst tropes I'm a sucker? Oh let's see... Hayato has one of the main of it, a broken heart from a past love. TYL Takeshi has, slowly physically gotten ill and of course depressed. There is also the one where the loved one is slowly dying that is really *chef kiss*. I also love love love, one-sided love! Basically those.

Everything in excess can be overwhelming after a while. The key point is that my, after a while... Takes a bit longer. Mostly because when I write angst I project the pain I'm feeling and thus I feel happy while writing. Which... Makes this process really long for me to burn out. So I guess... I thrive on angst?

Meet with tutor and attend a lesson. Check. 

Run some errands for mother? Check. 

Pick up father’s new glasses? Check. 

Get some cardio done? ... Check.

Be chased by some Yakuza because you may have seen something you weren’t supposed to and you started running? ...Must be a new addition to the list. Check. 

“Haru already said she saw nothing!” (She did) “I won’t tell anyone!” (Oh, she’s definitely calling the cops) She rounds a corner and continues running. Looking behind her, she notices that she’s still being chased. Woe is Haru who finds herself in dangerous situations like these. 

“If you keep chasing Haru, you’ll regret it!” This, was probably true.

Moth, I love you so much! Your portrayal of Byakuran has given my Sho so much life. I love hearing people get excited about their muses like you do. I love just chilling on discord and listening to the headcanons you have and discussing things without any pressure or strain, you're so easy to plot with and it makes things so much easier.

I could spend all night just chatting with you and listening to you get engaged in your headcanons and world building and hearing the differences in how you see Byakuran from canon. It's so cool hearing the different headcanons you come up with. The dash comm tonight had me laughing into tears at the fashion crimes comments. Seeing his interactions with Haru is different as we saw canonically she didn't really interact with him, it was the guys because of -motions to everything going on TYL- I also love that you understand Byakuran and that the smile is a lie and in 2 seconds flat he can go straight to kill mode depending on the setting and verse. I like that you also have Shioryuu too as some of the box animals can play a part in the plot too, Uri isn't thrilled to see him but I am lol.

Another thing I love is that you want to acknowledge his wrongs and fix it, as we mentioned, there is a lot that needs fixed between him and Shoichi before they can have a stable relationship otherwise it's toxic and basically forced by Stockholm syndrome. You don't know how many times I've seen this ship portrayed as toxic in fics and it made me want to cry. I am so happy you agreed that they both need to heal first and Sho needs to acknowledge that Byakuran did actually do wrong and hurt him and not be so quick and easy to forgive. You are acknowledging that yes you write a villain, and not all of them get their redemption arc so quickly. And that's my favorite thing about your portrayal, you're making him more realistic by acknowledging his wrongdoings and not just glossing them over easily.

Could say more but I'm gonna cut it here and just say that I love your portrayal and enjoy talking with you as a friend too and hope to write more with you for a long time!

Haru was quickly trying to calm Lambo down, who was crying. “Shhh shhh, Lambo-chan, it’s okay. See? It’s not bleeding anymore. I’m fine, I’m not dying.” Well, she doubts that she’d die from being shot in the leg—but she digresses. Honestly, she’s shocked by how dastardly this … who were they again? Moto… no, wasn’t it Momo? Momo… Momoyaki! (Her habit of not memorizing names properly if she doesn't like them strikes again!) They sure had balls of steel to shoot someone in public like this. She had to admit that they really knew how to make a statement. Shoot someone in the leg, it makes it a lot harder for them to run away, so that increases the fear factor.

In that moment of her dropping to the ground after being shot in the leg, the only thing she could think about (aside from how much it hurt, of course) was the fact that Lambo had to get out of there. She was purposefully targeted and Lambo could be the next target. The possession of firearms was illegal in Japan (unless you were military or police), so this was a planned operation. Lambo refused to leave her side, declaring that he was going to stay with her and get her to safety.

The heat of the moment of her desperately trying to send Lambo off made her blind to everything else, including the fact that Byakuran had at one point arrived. It was so chaotic around them with onlookers screaming in terror that someone actually got shot in Japan that she didn’t notice his presence until she felt a hand on her thigh. She shivers at the weird sensation of what she knew was his uncanny ability to heal people. When her leg was fine, she looks up at him to thank him, but her breath hitches.
