A tale of Gremlins & Killer Clowns
Âť Compiled from [x] & [x] || @parallellives Andy & Prue
Prueâs across Andy on the table and itâs like a western stare down. Crossing her fingers she makes a funny face at him, before puffing up her lips. Sheâs trying to come to a decision, which is normally very easy for her, but not now. Sheâs underestimated him before. Gravely, when she cast a spell on him for too little a time for his reaction. Heâs got extensive knowledge of both comic and horror films so thatâs already a step up than normal people. He knows the tropesâŚshe looks at the paper. Sheâs already put real chance of survival, but she feels its somewhere in the middle. She highlights both but acts like shes erasing something briskly to make him nervous. She has to have fun with this too. She sucks in her lip and narrows her eyes playfully at him. âIâll show you mine if you show me yours.â
Andyâs of course, taking things just as seriously as Prue is. He doesnât want to be rushed. He starts to dissect it, just as he does when he has a case. There has to be a weighing of all factors. âWould Prue survive a horror flick,â he wonders aloud. âWell, that entirely depends on your powers. With powers? That killerâs got another thing coming for him; you could turn his own weapon against him, or restrain him for the heroic detective that comes in to supposedly save youâŚâ He winked at her for emphasis.âWithout powers? Well, Prue, donât get me wrong here, but you were afraid of the GremlinsâŚâ He teased, laughing out loud as he remembered the time he personally gave her that phobia, the word mogwai still echoing in his head. âTwo stars.â He grinned.
As they went through their sheets, comparing each otherâs weaknesses, an ominous silence swept around them. Neither noticed as they continued to discuss the horror genre. Then suddenly the room started to shift, and move around. Prue got up from the table quickly, placing herself in front of Andy as she held his hand. âStay close, I donât know whatâs going on...â she uttered feeling a blast of cold air hit them at once, forcing them to fall on what appeared wet gravel beneath them, and nothing that looked like the Halliwell manor. Prue got up, alerted trying to shield the fear. âAndy. Andy are you alright?â she asked. Even if the real question she wanted to ask was, âwhat the hell just happened.â Before she could hear what he said, a bottle of liquor was thrown nearby her with a screeching âweeeee,â and a scurrying through the bushes. Her eyes bulged out, âAre you kidding me. Gremlins?! Andy. What did you do?!â
