Ah yes thank u for bringing up the additional angst that, no, he wouldn’t, because he still has a death foresight looming over him.

Mic barely heard her this time, but it was just so difficult. More people... More people could be saved! They were Right There, they were Heroes. They should be able to do this, and... and Backdraft would be on the way, especially for a blaze like this... His breathing drew short, and quick, but it didn’t provide him enough oxygen. There was too much smoke in the air, and he started coughing.  Weakly, he tried pulling his wrists away again, but it hurt with the tight grip she had on him. Another few, shallow, breaths... More coughing. He couldn’t breathe, he couldn’t hear... It was difficult to see, and there were less and less people rushing out now... “S-Stella... That guy...” He couldn’t point, but a man was struggling to make it to the exit from a nearby room, clearly injured. They could Help him, or She could.

15. Your muse grabs my muse’s wrists.

He Knew he was being childish, but there was a lot of things that could be done right now, and he was sure his was the right way to go. It didn’t help that the rush of things around them, people running to and fro, and the rise of smoke in the building was stirring him up even further. He was here to help people, not panic, but he was definitely panicking.

Maybe that’s why, for a moment or two as his wrists were grabbed in a tight, bruising, hold, that he struggled for a few seconds. He could do it, he could go in that room and he could maybe grab someone to... His struggling stopped when he realized it was Stella, and he stilled, breath heavy and eyes watering. She was saying something, but he couldn’t quite focus on her mouth, and his hearing aids weren’t quite working over the noise of people and the sounds of part of the building collapsing. 

    Today was like any other day during Mic’s lunch break, he just ended up relaxing in the teacher’s lounge, playing games on his phone and practically blocking out anything else in the process. His translator was gone for his own lunch, so hopefully none of his students would come in looking for him. But oddly enough, it wasn’t a student that entered the room. When he felt the vibrations of the door opening, he glanced up from his phone, noticing the other woman. He had seen her around a few times, but had never really talked to her.
