People ask me why I spend so much money to go to conventions like Salute to Supernatural or Parafest. Well I'll tell you.
I have a shitty life, nothing interesting ever happens. I hate my job, I don't go to school, I have no idea what I want to do with my life. There is drama happening 99% of the time. I'm lonely and scared of the future like most teenagers.
When I go to a convention I forget all that.
When I meet my idols it's a feeling quite hard to explain. These are the people who I look up to in times of trouble and sadness. Their characters give me hope in complete darkness. Meeting them, hanging out with them, just getting to say I love them, it makes me feel happy. Truly happy. Honestly, I'm willing to pay thousands of dollars again and again to feel that feeling.
Β I think the best thing I get to take out of a convention is a picture. When I'm sad I can grab my picture with Jared Padalecki and remember that feeling I felt in that moment. The pain fades away for a little while. Ty Olsson said I have a beautiful smile...Its because at these conventions, my smile is pure instead of forced.

Parafest
Today I went to Parafest. Obviously ,I was very nervous to meet Sebastian, Mark,, Ty, and the Ghostfacers but they are all super amazing!! I met some new friends and I can proudly say that I hung out and danced with Sebastian the whole day. He is one of the best guys you will ever meet, he was extremely kind and seemed to be excited that we were hanging out with him. Who knew one of the best days of my life would have been spent hanging out and dancing with a 40 year old man.
Parafest 2013!
I hope I get to meet Mark Sheppard and Ty Olsson. Like, I really hope I do! There's not much else to say than that...I'm going to Parafest today sometime and I'll be pretty heartbroken if I don't at least get to shake their hands. ._.
