Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā itās kind of like heās nearly forgotten something,Ā that thereās this thing and itās just on the tip of his tongue and that sooner or later itāll come to him again. itās kind of a lot like that, except thereās a hard something else in his chest that screams at him and itās telling him he canāt forget and that he has to keep it in the front of his mind now,Ā and at all times.Ā Ā it tells him that if he lets it go, something terrible will happen.Ā Ā he canāt quite kick the feeling that it will be a horrible and sinister thing that he cannot even begin to imagine, and yet, for the life of him, he canāt quite form a picture of it to hold. the second eddie kasprzak moved out of derry and into blithe hollow and met this boy, the one who wonāt quite talk much about anything -- norman, he told him his name was (he told him that much) -- the picture starter to get a little bit clearer for a moment. that being here, how this place was nearly like derry in all the worst ways, that the danger he remembers feeling (but canāt quite remember why he felt it) when he was back home was lurking somewhere here, that he couldnāt ever really run away from things like this.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āi donāt like this. not one bit, norman.ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā eddie bites his tongue. over and over some smart instinct in him that he didnāt quite understand had told him to shy away, to stay at home (the new home that feels itchy and mostly off by a few degrees, where his mother who also doesnāt quite feel right anymore is).Ā he ignored it.Ā he followed norman anyhow, and the results that follow are nothing but his own fault. he would mind entirely had the situation not made the thing heās trying to remember with his whole heart feel a little less blurry. he needs to see it one last time so he can brand it into his skull and never wonder again.
