they have an odd friendship. sometimes it doesnāt seem like much of a friendship at all. and then, sometimes it does. like when san drags himself out of bed at three in the morning to help him out. or how he still talks to him after he pulls something with his best friend. but then they have moments, like the last time he saw him, back as isac, where everything collapses in on itself. where san lashes out angry on jowiās behalf, or because yohanās antagonizing him right back. sometimes theyāre both too far gone to anger, and it catches up on them in a wildfire rush.
tonight is the perfect environment for one of those fires. both of them seeped through with booze, all it will really take is a matchstick before theyāre lit up in a furious blaze. at the moment though, san wears a smile. itās cocked up, at odds with the one heād been taunting yohan with all those weeks back. this oneās sly, like he knows heās about to be a dick. or maybe itās just everything heās poured down his throat so far. too many shots with jowi, and chasers to go along with it. until his head feels like heās swimming. legs a little shaky underneath him. but thatās not a deterrent when he spots yohan, even if he had been searching for milo instead.
in fact, thatās what he opens with.Ā āwhereās milo?ā itās rather to the point. but san leans up against a wall next to yohan anyway. theyāre out of the way, tucked behind an alcove. the sort of place youād wander into on your way to look for a bathroom before discovering itās in the opposite direction altogether. the walls provide a decent sound buffer for the moment though. it gives san a moment for everything to catch up with him.
āyou look gone,ā he snorts out after he gets a good look at yohan. he shouldnāt have paired it with a laugh. but as far as heās concerned, yohan deserves some of that misery all on his own. he doesnāt really care if heās hurting. itās not like heās a blameless angel. not like sanās siding with him on much of anything.Ā ābut hey, while iām here. nice image change with produce project. i really like it, did kjh come up with the whole thing or was making pre-teen girls cry your own special creation?ā his tongueās loose, and san thinks heās being hilarious. itās probably for the best san doesnāt know about yohan and suran yet.
