Carson sighed as he poured himself a glass of water. He wasn’t big into parties, at least not how Quinn was. The bass went to his head, giving him an ache that wouldn’t subside for hours after the night would end. But the blonde had been so excited at the idea, that he couldn’t not show up.
Quinn had invited a multitude of friends, acquaintances, and tenants of the building. It’s good to know that he’s branching out to the other residents now, he thought to himself as he side stepped his next door neighbors. How the older boy was able to get away with this kind of stuff, he had no clue. He was sure anyone else in the building would be fined for causing such a disturbance, including himself.
Carson opted out of drinking alcohol, keeping his water in his hand as he pushed through the cramped living room. The couch had been shoved up against the wall, creating an open space for people to mingle and dance. He made his way down the hall, trying to find refugee in Quinn’s now familiar room. He slept in their most nights, sick of sleeping on the couch and too tired to head back to his own apartment below. The brunette cracked open the door, hoping to find it empty and free of random’s. Instead, he found Quinn leaning against the headboard.
“Hey, you come in here for a break from your own party? That’s pretty lame dude.” He joked, chuckling as he knee walked up the bed. He shoved his way in between Quinn and the wall, pulling the covers over his legs and resting his head in the crook of the blonde’s neck. They sat like that for a while, before Carson tilted his head up to glance at the other. “You alright bud?”
