I saw an eastern giant swallowtail butterfly in our garden (twice today) 😍🦋!
This species of swallowtails never lets me photograph them 😭lol.... always very evasive. However, I received the visits as a sign of good luck 💛.

I really can't do this butterfly justice with pictures. The scales on their wings shift through mint, teal, blue, and violet depending on the angle of the light, and the entire body is covered in a spray of tiny emerald green reflective scales.
