Summary: It's Damian and Claudia Sofia's First Halloween as a couple and when Damian makes it Instagram official, his fans aren't exactly happy about it

Warnings: protective!Damian, body shaming, ableist comments, my insecurities that are written in this imagine are the same insecurities I have in real life, fluff and implied smut (the only fictional things about me here is that I have a job, I know how to do my makeup and a 10k following on wattpad 😂) and a slight AU (i think), Rhea and Damian are roomies!

"Mami are you almost done?" Claudia Sofia's boyfriend of almost 5 months hollered from downstairs as she was putting on the finishing touches of her costume, Wonder Woman's signature headband to hide the specks of red by her hairline to almost her forehead, caused by a recent psoriasis attack a few days ago

"Almost mahal ko!" She hollered back as she looked in the mirror to look at herself completely, making her smile softly

This was the first Halloween that she and Damian have as boyfriend and girlfriend, he suggested that they should dress up as Superman (in his black suit) and Wonder Woman (knowing fully well that she loved DC, especially Superman)

Her smile faded, biting her lower lip as her right leg and foot was slowly becoming uncomfortable in the leather boots, sighing as she emerges out of the room and carefully went downstairs, trying not to trip while walking

Sofia had Tibial Muscular Dystrophy for as long as she could remember, being in and out of physical therapy as a kid and wore special shoes to help correct the way she walked, she could walk yes but she gets tired if she stood and walked for long periods of time quicker than an average person would and her walk was a little bit different than others.

She was very open and honest about her condition to her family, friends and her loyal readers online and on paper, though some people even have bullied her for it but she didn't mind it and had grown a thick skin over the years, all the negativity and her condition didn't stop her from reaching her dreams as an author

But she couldn't help being insecure about herself from time to time, especially when she's dating someone like Damian Priest

"You look beautiful Sof" Rhea, Damian's roommate and one of his best friends complimented as she finally reached the bottom of the stairs wearing a gothic vampire costume for Halloween

"Thank you Rhea" the petite brunette smiled "You look awesome as well!" She says, admiring the Aussie's costume

Sofia squeaked when she felt herself being lifted off the ground, it was Damian smirking as he happily admired his girlfriend's costume, she giggled upon seeing him as she admired his costume too, wrapping her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck

“Damn, I'm a lucky girl” she thought

"Don't you look sexy, Ms. Prince" Damian said, deepening his voice a little bit knowing that it turned her on immensely

"I'm not cosplaying as her secret identity D." She teased, pecking his lips "I could say the same thing about you though" she purrs against his lips, gasping when he squeezed her asscheeks

"Mhm what do you say we ditch this party and celebrate Halloween in our own way as Superman and Wonder Woman instead hm?" he suggested, nipping her bottom lip softly

"Um as much as I want to leave you two love birds behind, I'm planning to get wasted tonight and I need a driver" Rhea rolled her eyes playfully at her roommate as Sofia blushed, pulling away from Damian's lips and tried to pull away from him but he pulled her closer and held her waist tighter

"We'll leave after you take a few photos of me and my girl, I want to officially show her off to the world" he says proudly "Te quiero mucho, Claudia" he smiled brightly and handed Rhea his phone as she began taking photos of the pair

Sofia smiled lovingly and caressed his cheeks "Mahal na mahal kita" she giggled

Once Rhea was done she looked at the pair quizzically as she hands Damian his phone back "Why do you guys talk to each other in Spanish and Tagalog?" She asked curiously

"Because I wanted to learn her language and I know she loves it when I speak Spanish" Damian smirked as he got his phone, still not letting go of her

Sofia tried so hard not to blush, because he was right about loving it when he speaks Spanish "I don't love it that much, now put me down" She pouts, trying to get off of him but her boyfriend shook his head

"I know your right leg and foot are killing you mi amor, I thought about that and placed your slippers in the car because those boots are making you uncomfortable" he smiled thoughtfully

She kissed his lips sweetly "What did I do to deserve you?" She hums lovingly

"Just existing and being yourself" he chuckled as the three of them got outside.

Rhea smiled to herself and admired the couple's relationship despite being very different in more ways than one

"They're perfect for one another"

You know when I realized I had feelings for her, she rejected me 6 times but not because she doesn't like me back, it's because of comments like these that will pop up every time I show the internet how much I love her despite her flaws and imperfections.
