In my excitement, I forgot to trim off the non-Arizona elements on the map. US map weaving experiments (recap) 3) Maine Map scanned from a AAA map, foam core base. . Notes: Tried the Hawaii methods on Maine of the AAA map. Scanned and cleaned around the state in "ocean" blue. Worked well. BUT a lot of the New England states are too tiny on this map. In addition, California was too difficult to scan, with the large size of the state and folds in the map.
