Got a comm back from @newcronomicon. Happy to get another comm from her and of these two dorks! Love the scared-of-everything ghost hunter and his half alien girlfriend

Ooo Pancake? Why yes, yes she does!! And a lot, actually. I'll TRY to keep this relatively short.

Pancake is my self insert/persona and I use her for almost everything. It's all Pancake in different universes. And there's two backstory categories that they all fall under: Demigod and Poor Teen.

But before all that, Pancake is a hybrid between an alien called a Terrorvant, and a human.

They are MASSIVE, some reading a size that's five times larger than a blue whale. And Pancake can only reach ten feet. They also have shape and color shifting abilities, though some traits will still poke out. And they have acid blood. That they can shoot from their mouths. At high temperatures and velocities. They are VERY protective of their loved ones. They'll make friends and let others make friends, but if someone threatens them or a loved one, HEAVEN HELP THEM. Pancake had inherited this.

Let's start with: DEMIGOD!!

AUs this is a part of: Leave Death to the Professionals, I Scammed Death, and a couple others, I can't remember

Leave Death is the base universe where Pancake is from. All the lore bits and whatnot are from here. It's where Skittles is too. Pancake accidentally slipped and ended up killing herself, and through Death, found out she was a Demigod. And a necromancer. There's loss of morals, humanity, letting herself indulge in things she never could because there's no ultimate consequences. She is a nightmare, a menace, and be wary if you piss her off

I Scammed Death:

My self ship with Spamton. Pancake falls into the Cyber World and stays there indefinitely with her trash husband. How sweet :3

And now for the others: POOR TEENAGER. This one has no demigods or Skittles or anything else. Pancake and her friends like to ghost hunt, explore abandoned buildings, and try to summon ghosts. The summonings are typically uneventful, but they still have fun. Pancake, however, found an old book in a library about necromancy. Being silly, she took it to her friends and wanted to try the hardest spell. It wouldn't work, they felt, and there's no repercussions if they fail. Safe. Except she did the spell perfectly. And she's now a necromancer who can't die, can talk to the dead, and is having an existential crisis over it. A lot less dramatic than the Demigod category, but it fits into certain AUs better. Such as:

UNDEAD4UNDEAD: An AU where Pancake and Springtrap are together. (Ask me about this one cuz there's a LOT here). Pancake somehow can't leave the cursed Freddy Fazbear's franchise. It always comes back to haunt her. And she ends up getting a literal rotten boyfriend out of it

MSA/PANTHUR: This one is slightly different, on account she became a necromancer in her adult years. Her friends died in a caving accident, and she learned necromancy to bring them back. Unfortunately this never fully worked, as they moved on and she became a slasher. How she's a part of the Mystery Skulls is a mystery. But she's not knocking it. It also allows her to move on.

PORAL 2/OTCORE: Pancake was a scientist-turned-test subject. Because of her dad's genes, she had an advantage over the other subjects. And to compensate for this, the scientists cut off her spines, wings, antennae, and tails. And then put her on ice. And then GLaDOS killed everyone else. She takes place of Chell in this AU, and ends up with one or two boyfriends (depends on the AU). She has no idea how. She lost her memory, has inexplicable phantom pains, and instincts she can't ever describe. Surgery scars are all over her body and she doesn't know why. It hurts. Existence hurts. And she doesn't know why.

STARCAKE: everyone knows this one. Pancake falls into the Underground and eventually marries a cowboy. Not much here!!!

And now for others cuz they're in completely different universes

CULT OF THE LAMB: Pancake is the Lamb. She had to disguise herself as a cat for years after her home was destroyed. She learned Glassblowing, was found out and killed, and became the next God of Death. Her horns are glass, warm to the touch, and unbreakable. Her husband, is indeed, Narinder!

RAIN WORLD/FRUITSLICE: Pancake, AKA Fury of Neglected Ghosts, aka Ghost, is the senior in her group. She had to leave with her sister eventually, and met No Significant Harassment, as well as the others. She's MASSIVE for an iterator. Strong too. She has killed Leviathans with her bare hands. She acts cold and distant. She just doesn't wanna be hurt.

HOMESTUCK: Yeah. Fuchsia blood hiding as. Not that. And she's a nightmare too.

OOOO YOOOOO!! Some Panthur stuff!!! Hehe!

Panthur is probably one of my favorites cuz it has such a unique dynamic and explores a side of Pancake I normally don't (unless it's Leave Death, but it's kinda standard there.) This also all happens after the events of MSA.

Pancake is a slasher in this AU. She had a couple friends who also went on ghost hunts and explored abandoned buildings and caves and such. However on one of these trips, inside a cave, she wandered off a little. And wandered off a bit to explore. However Something Happened, and she saw her two friends die. Or, rather, get killed.

Since then, she had tried to get them back. Taking up necromancy, trying to find the thing that killed them. Seeing if killing others and trying to replace souls in the afterlife will bring them back. No dice. She eventually had to leave everything behind cuz stuff was too painful for her. And her neighbors were getting suspicious. There was a killer on the lose after all, and she knew how to hide a body.

After a few months, she found the small town of Tempo, where the Gang lived. She stopped by the mechanics' on her motorbike, found a place to rest for the night, and the next day found Vivi. And the two immediately hit it off as friends. Two nerds geeking out about ghosts and cryptids and whatnot. Lewis eventually arrives, and because she's a necromancer, Pancake immediately clocks him as dead. Even though he's got a human look on. What startles her though, is that he's a very aggressive type of ghost. And he's calm. Like he's the calmest ghost of his type she's seen. Huh. Lewis can also tell that she knows.

She eventually rolls around to the mechanic's again, and Arthur is there instead of Lance. And oh boy, he's cute! She talks to him and they also hit it off

The four of them really start to become friends, mostly because Vivi hasn't meet someone as enthused about the supernatural as Pancake is (especially since Pancake IS the supernatural). She soon joins the team too.

Arthur soon starts suspecting Pancake isnt entirely who she says she is. She was able to see that Lewis was dead, but there's other things that tip him off as weird. See, Pancake has been wearing things to hide the fact she's half alien. A big beanie to hide her antennae, dentures to hide her teeth. But that doesn't stop how her eye reflects in low light, how well she's able to make certain animalistic sounds, and the fact she has sharper fingernails than most. Vivi passes it off because either way, Pancake is very cool. And Lewis is a ghost. But Pancake is anxious about showing that she's half human (a bit more than the slasher thing) cuz of her upbringing. Not knowing that Vivi would go NUTS and the other two would be like "yeah, we knew that". Heck Mystery knows too.

Then there's other rumors that started popping up. How a killer came to town. And Pancake hasn't killed anyone. Yet. She's too preoccupied with this new friend group. One day they all head into this abandoned mansion not too far, and it turns out that someone else was in there. And took to stalking Arthur. Lewis and Vivi can fend for themselves, Mystery is a kitsune, and Pancake is another slasher. So Arthur, is again, the target.

The guy manages to isolate him, cornering the guy. Before someone else pops up and the two of them fight. The other one is in this bunny mask, and bunny mask kills him. And turns out to be Pancake. A killer who hasn't been seen in months, having gone from town to city until this place. And Arthur realizes that, at this point and time, he's been interested/dating a killer. But she defended him. And Lewis is there too. It's a complex mess. And somehow the relationship still works out from that

I'm still fuzzy on how they get together/first kiss/etc. They were very close to the point the other two called it out. And Vivi thought they WERE dating until they announced it. Like "wait, all along, you weren't actually a thing?" And the two of them have to shrug and grin. They were OBVIOUS.

Lewis was suspicious of Pancake for a while. They were still friends, but she felt like she had something haunting her. Like the death of her friends and all those whom she's killed. And the person who killed her friends in that cave. Discovering she's a killer was shocking, in the way that Arthur stays. None of them know why. Arthur just likes her.

She's a slasher. My self insert in that universe is a killer. Wears a mask and goes about killing people. Sometimes for fun, but not all the time (her old friends got killed and she learned necromancy to bring them back and feels she needs to kill people for it).

Arthur, her boyfriend, doesn't realize this until after they start dating. They go to a haunted house with a killer in it, she masks up and kills said killer around Arthur, and only realizes after the fact. And he finds out he's dating one of the local killers. And he decides to stay

Which is funny, knowing Arthur's ordeal. Hey she's a hot body guard.

in turn this also made her a slasher. (needing to replace a person's soul in the afterlife with someone else's to bring them back kinda stuff.) Pancake is a legitimate slasher in this universe, and she's partners with Arthur. The scaredy cat of the group. On top of being half alien and everything else.
