Pantawan Art and Learning Center, located on the island of Negros, offers the community—especially the underserved and disadvantaged—opportunities to explore life’s possibilities and to imagine the best way to live and love. Pantawan means ‘to look at something beyond’. The Pantawan Art and Learning Center views art as the medium that transforms life. The purpose of Pantawan is to bring together artists with the local and global community to exchange ideas through artistic presentations and educational partnerships. Pantawan will also partner with schools to provide creative and educational workshops for the underprivileged. Fundraising events will be held at the Center to support free art workshops and events for the community. We offer programs that recognize and promote local culture and artistic heritage, and that will increase contact with global peoples through the arts. We also welcome educational exchanges on culture and environmental topics, urban development, and the value of indigenous knowledge, intelligence and worldviews.
