im thinking of doomed yuri, and she is the one doomed. a typical story of an angel falling in love with a human, except the human was killed off and thrown in hell as the angel's punishment. god's punishment also includes :

- broken halo

- having to continuously work for god's mercy

- if not, beloved human will never reach heaven

- how? idk yet

- never fall in love again or that partner will go hell

- heavy gold accessories to prevent flying/gliding (if their wings grow back)

during their relationship, the angel dyed their hair blond and, clipped and dyed their wings (sign of rebellion). as years go by, she begins to regret their relationship. because of them, the human is doomed to enternal suffering. the angel's hair and wings turn white as she works hard to earn god's mercy.
