This is why Mauvier loves to lay with him. Pandreo wears his control like a stole across his shoulders: askew, joyful. Reverent, in his way; he honors the sighs and the shivers, the submission, the stumbling blocks in Mauvier’s body and mind.

Mauvier feels held, always, as if Pandreo’s sure little hand is wrapped around his wrist. As if it guides him, eager and vibrant and safe.

This is why Mauvier hesitates. Pandreo knows true north. Mauvier fumbles in the dark.
