We've often discussed the artistic process G|P undertakes but have shown only a few examples. So here's full 2 pages of the notes. Although the only person that can decode the thumbnails' Jo.
As insane as the pages looked - there's methods to the madness that worked for Jo. This manner of approach to page to page layout allows Jo to have more flexibility to what frame to keep or discard later, without having to re-do an entire page; while following the script to a T. Usually after this process, if there’s a need to alter the script – the script would be rewritten to fit the picture.
As far as script goes - as long as it is complete, the grammar and structure don't really matter. It doesn't get published. Only the dialog matter (and the only part that gets re-writes, if any).
Early plans for the "Tales of" Panel at Metrocon Pt. 2
Times have been placed in for the panel this year. They might change in the future though, I just needed to make sure I get the slots for now.
Friday: [Screening Day] 3-5pm
Saturday: [Main Panel] 7-10pm
They will both be held in Room 19.
Nothing about photoshoots right now. Will keep people posted as it gets closer to the date.
Metrocon 2012 - June 15-17th
Welp, time to get all my Tales stuff together again for the panel and shoot next year.
Expecting next year to be a really good year for Tales, considering all the stuff coming out soon.

Each image / frame of the pages' individually penciled and inked. Then scanned to composite into each page. She does not use one large manga sheet to draw each page. This is done because it's a faster process and allows her more artistic freedom to compose and arrange each page.
