All ready for my show P. Allen Smith 's Moss Mountain Farm. These still lifes were inspired by the beautiful arrangements I saw in the kitchen when I visited at the end of June. I came home and started putting together still lifes in my studio. Finding the dill to paint was a challenge but Little Rock Urban Farming came through! The dill also included a beautiful swallow tailed caterpillar which fed on the dill the whole time I painted. My husband and I set up a spot on the back porch to see if it would finish it's cycle and it did.
