okay so, sin does mean new in my url, im (jan) Palina sin bc 1. im new to being jan Palina (transgender....) 2. i like to see the world like its my first time n like rly appreciate everything, bc if i dont fight to hold onto hope i get depressed tbh 3. im young so im like literally new, theres a lot for me to see still 4. its kinda funny like "its paulina again" or "more paulina"

the other way to read it, pali nasin, also works bc its very vague... theres a lot you can take away from it. i kinda picked it for the "pali nasin"/"palina sin" thing but it does mean smth its not *just* shoehorning a double meaning. i kinda explained it in the post but its like how i wanna be. live as myself, following what i believe in, working to be a better person, creating things for myself, etc. this works bc nasin means path/way but it can be very metaphorical abt it, like a 'way' of life. when ppl call toki pona "taoist" theyre mostly talking abt the word nasin which is pretty much the word tao (and kinda "way" in english). im not religious but ive read a lil bit abt it bc of toki pona

pali means "work" or "doing" or "creating" or other stuff. so theres less room to get funky w it like there is w nasin, but you can read it in multiple ways...
