Tristan was born in Monaco before it became a sovereign country. His family grew up with the royal family before their reign, and after they took the throne they stayed close. Tristan accepted the position of guard to Brielle Grimaldi, newly appointed Queen of Monaco. 

While it was difficult for him to leave his family back in Monaco, there was no question that he would follow the Queen on her journey. However, he thinks of those he left behind often, and longs for a day he can be with them once more. 

It is incredibly hard to earn his trust. He sees everyone as a threat until they prove him wrong. Once he trusts them, he would do just about anything for them.

He is incredibly loyal to those closest to him. At the top of his list is the Queen. 

He wants nothing more than to go back to Monaco and continue his job there. He could not care less about the other countries, nor does he care about alliances. He cares only for his own country and people. If that means an alliance must be formed, so be it, but until then he is happy to stay about of it.

➳ kathleen is the only child of a canadian duke. her mother however is a very prominent member of one of the first nation tribes of canada. her father and mother were deeply in love with each other but were not allowed to be married. though despite all of this they still wanted to be together and wanted to try to raise kathleen the best way they could.

➳ her father officially named her kathleen after his own mother. but her mother also named her sinopa which means fox. both of her names she is very proud to have, and both have very special meaning to her.

➳ growing up she was allowed to learn from both her father and mother. despite what many people tried to tell her father, he always allowed her to learn more about the people of her tribe and their culture. he wanted his daughter to know about where she came from, but he did her best to also give her tools she would need to survive in his world as well.

➳ he knew it was going to be difficult for her growing up, being an illegitimate child of a duke while also being part first nation. but he worked very hard so that one day she could legitimized in the court and she would be able to inherit his wealth and maybe even his title.

➳ since the time she was young she began learning from her mother the ways of medicine. her mother taught her everything she knew about how to heal someone. what plant had what purposes, how to bandage wounds, how to tell the signs of sickness. her mother was very well known for her skills in medicine and it was clear that kathleen also was very talented in this area as well

➳ she continued to study with as many people as she could. even venturing into more western medicine. though this proved to be a more difficult branch to break into since very few doctors were willing to teach a women their skills. and even fewer wanted to teach someone who was bi-racial like kathleen. but still she pushed on and worked twice as hard to prove she deserved a spot just like everyone else

➳ currently she is still learning from a highly respected physician who has been working for the queen. she’s been training under them and has quickly become one of their top students and someone who she relies on. there has been many times kathleen has gone along with her to help treat someone, and during that time she almost feels like an equal to them.

➳ after the plauge broke out kathleen had been working with many people to try to find ways to stop and cure it. though her father insisted that she come along with him to palais, to which she was very hesitant at first. but she was given comfort from her mother telling her there in palais she could study what was happening more and maybe work with doctors from other countries to try to help solve this

➳ so she left with her father for palais. here amongst the other royals he is hoping she will be legitimized and viewed as equal to the other lords and ladies there. he’s been pushing very hard for her to make friendships with others there and only wants the best for her

➳personality- so kathleen was taught by her father on how to be a proper “lady” she was also raised by a very strong mother who taught her to stand up for herself. in her life there have been many times where she has had to speak up for herself or go against people’s wishes to get done what she needs to do. so kathleen has found that she is much more outspoken than some of the other women in the court.

➳ she is not afraid to speak her mind and say what she thinks or what her opinons are. she is not ashamed of her heritage and will quickly shut down anyone who dares speak ill of her or her people.

➳ she’s used to fighting for what she wants. she’s had to prove herself in the man’s world of medicine and now is proving herself in the eyes of the court. she’s very strong and has a keen sense of what she wants. she will not back down from something because one person speaks badly about her.

➳ she also is very compassionate and caring for people around her, especially those who are looked down upon. the outcasts, underdogs, or lower class are people she goes out of her way to help because she has always felt like one as well. she has often provided medical services to those who can’t afford it for nothing or tried helping out in whatever way she can. if you need someone to stand up and speak up for you kathleen is the person to do that.

➳ i would love all sorts of connections with her. i’m super open to all sorts of things. i would love for her to have some strong friendship with other royals. maybe some people who are advocating for her in her goals. she will not tolerate people talking ill about her because of who she is and then she will work twice as hard to prove them wrong.

➳ since she wasn’t always raised royal i think she might have had a fling or something with someone. she’s used to having a bit more freedom than i think some members of court have. but now that she is in palias she is much more careful about anything like this.

Sophie takes not only her names from her parents, she was born with both the best and worst qualities of her parents. Intelligence, beauty, strength, and cunningness. Perhaps the strongest one of all the french heirs, but cursed with being a female in a world ruled by men. If born in a different world or time she would be the next in line for the throne and the best fit for it too. 

From a young age Sophie showed to be smart and bright, she was full of life and eager to do more, learn more, be more. She followed her father into the library for hours at a time, and was always mesmerized with her mother grace. Wherever her parents were, she followed close behind, it was no surprised she was the best and worst combination of the two of them. Always the glue of her siblings, but also the mediator, an authoritarian figure, the leader of the four.

She never stepped out of line, or let anyone see her do so, she kept her appearance of strength and perfection, with a great act of charm and kindness. Underestimating her for being soft and gentle can be the greatest mistake anyone can do, for she is sure the serpent underneath. 

There was only one person that was able to melt her walls down and see the best version of herself, a Duke, they grew up together in court and their innocent childhood soon bloomed into love as they grew up older and older. She knew deep in her heart she had been born to a be a queen, and the more the serious their relationship grew the more she was willing to give up her dream of marrying into a crown. However when she made her decision of letting that go he was abruptly taken away from her by the plague. This only served to harden her even more and made her see the world in black and white. 

Sophie is quite active in making alliances for her country, anyone that’s anyone is a help along the way and she’s very aware of it. For the most time she keeps up pretenses and pleasantries, which she is quite a master at. Hardly anyone can tell her true intensions. 

Possible connections

Best friend; someone she grew up with, or met at a young age and kept in constant letters and just grew up close by writing and a few visits back and forth.

Betrothed; this would be preferably a crown prince, or a king. The hows, when, and relationship can be discussed until found something we can both work with.

Ladies in waiting; her mother probably picked this girls single handedly from a very young age to accompany her daughter. She would be very close with this two girls, there would be no secret in between the two.

Love/Hate; someone who she has lots of sexual tension with and they both get on each others nerves, always fighting, etc.

Friends/allies; she’s always looking to make connections and political advances.

Enemies; someone she just can’t swallow but they have such a pleasant disposition, but the tension can be felt between them two. 

Prince Kiernan “Kier” Macnamara is the eldest child of the current King and Queen of Ireland. As with every stereotypical firstborn, he’s always been responsible, principled, hardworking and clever.

He sounds like a perfect little successor to the Irish throne, but don’t be fooled. He may look and act like an angel, but he has a characteristic roguish air to him that signals he tends to chase after trouble. His sportive affable nature makes him a friend to many, blue bloods and commoners alike.

He’s a champion to the underdogs. He has a soft spot for the oppressed, and this often clouds his better judgement. He fell in love with a commoner when he was just a teenager. His mother had her sold by a slave dealer upon discovering their affair.

It’s actually difficult to vouch for his heart, but he does appreciate beauty, be it physical or not. Given his youth, charm, and seemingly abundant supply of admirers, he's very susceptible to one-night stands. However, he’s the type who’ll intoxicate you with slow kisses in bed and have flowers sent up to your room the morning after. This makes him much more dangerous than a simple fuck-and-go, so beware *cackles evilly*.

He is anything but hotheaded. When it comes to relationships with other people, he’s usually tactful. He prefers passive-aggressive silence over lashing out on a person. Once he stakes a claim on something however, be it living or not, he tends to be very protective of it. That said, when he senses a person hates him, he just smirks at them or ignores them completely, you insignificant person you. But when you harm a person he loves, he will make you bleed.

His responsibilities in France include finding a future queen with enough compassion and wit to rule in harmony with him.

His interests include include swordfight, horseback riding, maritime navigation, and anything that could satiate his innate curiosity for the workings of the world.

born into the nobility of france out of the province of montmorency, gregoire was raised up in the world of nobles and political powers. he learned from a young age how to sit back and observe his father the duke of france handled his business as a noble man. as a young boy he saw the power of the mind through his father’s interactions and with the help of his education paid forth by louvel’s family wealth, he was able to learn about the psychology of the human mind. thus perfecting his ability to persuade people into submitting to his will. as the young boy grew older and became more educated he became more focused on learning more about the power of politics more so than the mind as he found himself enthralled by the lifestyle of the upper class.

  remaining close to his father’s side, gregoire was soon exposed to something that would change him as a young man of noble blood forever. he, along with a group of younger sons of noble men were invited to a brothel as some sort of celebration. it was unlike anything he had been exposed to in the lavish life of a noble and soon it became his addiction. of course courting women wasn’t troublesome for the handsome and suave young man, yet in his mind why put forth the effort when money bought the same satisfaction without the troubles of emotional ties. this was his belief until he came across one girl in particular.

  at first he held true to his beliefs and it was a simple business transaction, until his visits became more frequent and more specifically arranged with athenais. being a focused young man with an understanding of how the mind works, gregoire soon was able to use his charm and persuasion to get into athenais’ mind and heart . it wasn’t before long that she became with child though it was never spoken of as to whether or not gregoire was the father.  where most men perhaps would have ended their efforts, gregoire only became more persistent.

eventually she just vanished once the plague broke out, and the life of a noble man was once again prominent to louvel as his father unfortunately fell ill to the plague at the start of the break out before they began gathering up the nobles. being a very fitting successor to his father the title fell upon him with ease. his vigilant and observant ways allow him to better assess others and situations happening around him which gave louvel the ability to handle his nobility almost better than his father did before him.

I have been writing for too long awhile but took a break due to life so bare with me if I am a bit rusty upon my return.

greg is duke of france from the province of montmorency, he is a strong minded individual with a keen understanding of psychology of which he uses in his every day interactions so it should be fun.

he is very much the bachelor type and loves living a lavished lifestyle of his own kind.

his obsessive characteristics show more in the form of being extremely goal oriented.

he enjoys the underground side of the nobility life as well, though he is not as public with that part of his life.

he is charismatic, however his education on the mind makes him someone to not take for granted or someone to underestimate their true intentions.

he prefers furs and leathers to silks and satin.

he is a skilled fighter but prefers to fight mental battles than physical ones.
