Mannnn there is something about Machi relying largely on her hunches for answers- pure intuition which brings uncertainty into her usual need to make logical choices- and Pakunoda, who doesn’t need to rely on intuition because her ability allows her to learn the truth with ease. Of course, this situation shows that there is validity to Machi’s hunches (even Chrollo acknowledges that they’re usually correct), as she was right about Gon and Killua knowing Kurapika. But I still think she would find comfort in being able to rely on Pakunoda’s ability to find answers. She seems to have a natural curiosity about other people, and who better to help her explore that than a woman who can see people’s memories??
