Painted Angels is one of the best destiel fanfics I have ever read. I cried way too much but it did have an amazingly happy ending.

Some people just steal your energy and consume it themselves. They're like fireworks--no not fireworks for they're gone with a bang but more like a candle which burns and prevails long after you even hope to win. They take your secrets and your trust and twist them until you can't bear it any longer. They take and take and give nothing in return and when they are finished, you are left, a dry husk, devoid of emotion and sucked of life.
