Today I have decided that it's time to get off the bus. The bus of course is a metaphor. It stands for my life as a corporate slave as I like to refer to my so called career.

I read lots of blogs, did lots of soul searching, and a whole lot more of dreaming. But enough of that!

Yesterday, I found a wonderful article called "How to Quit your Day Job" on the Paid To Exist blog - and I thought, okay, there is a checklist of things to do if ever I saw one, so what are you waiting for? Turns out, not much!

One of the items Jonathan of Paid To Exist suggests to do is to set a date. A date at which you want to depart your current job/life, and start your new one. 

For me, there are still a lot of if's and maybe's lurking inside, so my date is set as the final decision date. The date is April 22, 2014. One year after I started my current job. On that day, a final decision has to be made. To be safe, I started a countdown and plan to keep it open in my browser until that day comes.
