Typical life with animals

Monday night our sweet old crazy man Pagonis was injured. Not sure the actual cause, though chances are he was being an idiot jumping on the other boys and fell. Been talking to the vet and she confirmed a cruciate tear with a possible pelvic fracture. He’s gimpy for sure. And he hurts. But he’s acting like himself, eating like a champ and bossing JJ around. So the plan is stall rest with tiny adjoining pen for some sunshine and vitamin D, meloxicam for pain in a few days when the banamine wears off, lots of TLC and chest scratches and, most importantly, time.
