Hey guys! I’m alive but I’ve been very busy.
This was a pretty rough year; the travel ban has kept me separated from my fiancé for almost a whole year now since we live in different countries. I’ve been in and out of depressive and anxious states thanks to that and how weird things were in the US this year. My sleep patterns are also a little strange now. I’ve even been hallucinating spiders crawling on my bed when I wake up lately, so that’s fun.
But some good stuff has happened. I moved to my own place, learned to make jam, got a new nephew, and still talked to my fiancé every day on video chat. I also took my first real stay-at-home vacation and gave myself time to really relax for the first time in years.
It’s been hard. But we’re all in the same boat. I hope next year is kinder to all of us.
2020 really decided it hadn’t taken enough from the world. So it took a king.
