Thousands of years before any regions or human settlements. When Arceus was just beginning to create the land. A time where all legendary pokemon livedin peace. Even Giratina. It was just Arceus creating for a while, before Giratina grew jealous and began to fight Arceus. A battle equally matched between the two.

For the safety of the other legends Arceus sent them to stay with the Tapus on their small group of islands. Their battle waged on for many, many decades before Arceus one and sealed away his former friend on a new island he created. Hisui. He then brought the others back and continued. But others began to backed and cause the gigantic Island to break into the regions we know today. However a mass of land was left. That Arceus abandoned after putting his two most loyal legends to protect it.

That became the Padelith. One half had residue of Giratina's magical energy. Causing it to become more harsh and difficult to live in. With one forest where the Corrupt type pokemon now live. The other half having Arceus's magical residue. Becoming wondrous and beautiful. With a sacred valley where the Celesti type pokemon live. In the middle, atop the tallest mountain was a small sapling. During the long battle of Arceus and First in a nothing could grow and even after it took till this sprouted for anything else to begin. A small tree sapling with both magic residue left inside it. The Arienith tree. The perfect balance of both. After it grew, and it grew rather quickly. The other plant life and pokemon life began to follow suit.

Eventually people and pokemon settled into the land. And many took home in the safety of the celesti type. The more brave and stubborn took to the corrupt. Though the corrupt forest remains untamed. Only allowing trainers to catch pokemon and not settle. The people there share a deep connection to nature due to Arienith.

However, trainer soon realized a phenomenon could only happen here. Soultis. Where when pokemon are bonded strongly with their trainer they may be able to both connect to Arienith to help boost defense of the pokemon. Eventually this was contained by necklaces made from fallen flowers of Arienith.

Soon the two legendary pokemon disappeared after people settled. Some say it was because the people tainted the land. Others say it was cause people began protecting the land and they were no longer needed and that they returned to Arceus.

The sacred valley is known as Arceus's Bed. As it has been mentioned the god pokemon has been spotted resting there. The pokemon here were dutiful and loyal to Arceus alone and developed a new type. The celesti. They are said to have more heavenly abilities.

The people sometimes bring their sick to the elders of the celesti living there. To beg of their help. Though they are not miracle workers. The pokemon do their best to help. Younger celesti help by giving good luck or bountiful harvest depending on the pokemon.

The dark forest is known as Giratina's Den. As in the center is a giant den where all corrupt pokemon rest and stay. The pokemon there are said to be more aggressive chasing out any who enter and in worse cases kill them. However if they sense only good in a trainer they may allow them to enter and explore but stay hidden, aside from a couple of newly hatched corrupt. If they sense more dark in a trainer, they will allow them in and be seen freely. Even some allowing both types of trainers to rest in the den when it is dark or stormy.

The elder corrupt are in charge and often help lost travelers. Some say these weird occurrences happen because the more dark trainer are seen similarly to equal with the corrupt. And the good allowed in but seeing little corrupt as admittance Giratina lost to Arceus and that they respect it.
