BREAKING: this 25 year old Swiftie has NO chill. O.M.G 😱😭🤩 MY PACKAGE CAME TODAY. COINCIDENTALLY 13 DAYS UNTIL REP TOUR TAMPA. I AM SHAKING & CRYING TEARS OF JOY. This is a box of pure magic, happiness, and art. I've truly never been so excited in my entire 25 yrs. It has always been my dream to see Taylor Swift in concert since I was 14 years old. Timing, health issues, and finances in my life have conflicted with my ability to attend a concert. Don’t let that fool you though- I have been stanning since Teardrops On My Guitar. On August 18th, 2017 Taylor wiped her Instagram clean and unloaded a mysterious video of a slithering snake that only meant one thing: a new era approached. It was then I made a pact; I WILL FINALLY see TS in concert if my life depended on it. I started saving, literally pennies, gotta start somewhere. I asked my boss for a raise.... they said yes! I eventually got promoted... yes!! With a lot of diligence and hard work, working sometimes 14 hours of over time a week in clinic (I’m a surgery assistant for retina and clinical dermatology), I kept putting aside money to afford the ticket of my dreams. In December, I finally made my dreams a reality and bought a snake pit ticket because I wanted my first Taylor concert to be something straight out of a dream. And I worked hours and hours and wanted to treat myself to something I’ve longed for for years and years and years. All of the years that we stood on the sidelines wishing for right now... ^^ literally me watching the Fearless tour, Speak now tour, Red tour, and 1989 tour from afar via YouTube and other social media platforms for the past 10 years. Well sometimes WE CAN HAVE NICE THINGS (contrary to T’s bop) and here I am, in all my 25 year old glory, no shame, no chill whatsoever, a diehard swiftie. In my navy scrubs after a long day in clinic. And y’all, if I told you this is the happiest I’ve ever been in my entire life, would you believe me? And, since that’s the complete and utter truth, do you think I will survive this concert on August 14th. PRAY I DO. Furthermore, I’d like to end on a poetic note.
