#pack review

Two of my dogs wear the Outward Hound Daypak in size medium (blue pack and green pack on the mostly black dogs). I’ve noticed they are not waterproof, but if they do get wet, they don't retain a lot of moisture. They are saddlebag style so you can’t fit a whole lot into them. Nonetheless, I’ve fit 3 days worth of food, their food bowls, and a water bottle into one dog's pack. The durability could be a little better. There has been slight fraying on both pack but nothing to do a return over, just normal wear and tear. Replacing them would be quite painless as well; they cost under $20 each. I would purchase again.

My Newfoundland mix, Moxxi, accidentally got the best backpack. She swims, but not as much as our curly tailed boy, Tiber. Unfortunately, the pack was much too big for him (that’s why it's so improperly adjusted in the side profile picture, we tried to make it work for him first). It’s a Ruffwear Full Day hiking pack for dogs, in the Large/X-Large size. I couldn’t recommend it more! For the dog that like to wade, or swim. It’s super rugged and durable, and waterproof. There is a lot more room in this bag as well. My only complaint is that you MUST have the sidebags evenly proportioned, otherwise you will have a side-sagging bag and probably, an uncomfortable pooch. On Amazon, it is around $80 for this pack, but I got mine for $65 at REI. If the price weren’t so steep, all of my dogs would be wearing this pack, but in different colors.

 I’m gonna try and keep the following posts as…unbiased as possible.

Personally, after playing for a few hours (around 5) I tended to find the whole routine a bit tedious. disappear into a rabbit hole for a few hours to audition, then keep practicing for 2-3 days until the actual performance and then visit a set where you complete tasks a la get to work. for the most part the build/buy and CAS items are gorgeous - but they don’t fit very well into my personal play style, ie: mid modern or over the top gorgeous.

it is refreshing to have another thing to add into the game, but i feel like with enough play time it’ll end up being just as tedious as owning a restaurant or playing with one of the active careers.

the new world is gorgeous, beautiful and something that we didn’t really have before but the idea of not actually having a ‘large’ world that you could fit in a few more residential sites doesnt fit well with my playstyle. for others - yeah this might work amazing, but i tend to play more so with families then anything else just like how i tend to stay away from MP. Aesthetically it’s a gorgeous world, I just wished our sims could actually explore all the lovely set dressing they did lmao.

TLDR; everything is nice but feels incredibly tedious after playing for a few hours with no real direction for growth with gameplay.
