I have this sweet undertum idea that’s been bouncing in my head for a while now and I’ve been thinking of ways to get it out but I only have a few vague ideas and I feel I should try sharing them just to get them out of my head.Â
It involves our resident pacifeast, several months into the relationship between feeder Tori and feedee Sans, but the idea itself would be about our dear skelebros bonding. When Sans starts to get really big, to save his bro from being made uncomfortable by his girth, he sorta just avoids Papyrus as best he can, not even joining the gang for meals. Tori will just bring him his food into their shared room. He’ll still read Papyrus and Frisk bedtime stories, but he’ll meekly shuffle in the room, wrapped in a big blanket or at least carefully covered in his biggest jacket. This whole feeder thing is new and Papyrus just really doesn’t understand it but at some point he starts trying. He makes an effort to not stare at his brother’s pudgy ectotum, really tries his best not to make things awkward. Bless his heart, he asks Tori what his favorite meals are and tries helping her cook. In no time at all, Papyrus becomes Tori’s kitchen helper (sometimes accompanied by the others when they visit) and cooking is just as fun as it was with Undyne in the Underground (but with less property damage).
To get to the idea itself: Papy decides to personally ask Sans to just join them for breakfast one morning. This Cool Dude knows things are not at all awkward between them! They can still talk to each other like they always have! Toriel answers the door to their shared bedroom first and is unsure. She personally thinks it’s a good idea, but doesn’t want to push Sans. But as they’re talking, Sans pokes his head out, then shuffles out of the room wearing just a large tshirt and shorts, the tiniest hint of belly showing, and does what he does best: Makes a stupid joke to cut through the awkwardness, and pretend like nothing is weird throughout the morning. Even when he has to waddle through the hallway to get into the kitchen. Even when he has to use two chairs next to each other to sit on. Even when Tori places plate after plate after plate of food in front of him and he’s blushing bright blue but still smiling. And Papyrus makes no note of it and keeps the conversation going in his typical jovial way, and Sans slowly relaxes because of it. Papyrus may never fully understand Sans’s feedee lifestyle, but what’s most important is that it never comes between them. Meanwhile, Toriel, witnessing all this, is totally thrilled at this development.
Yeah! SO! I’m not sure about my writing ability and it would be too long to turn into a comic, but who knows!
