First of all a very happy and prosperous new year to you and your family. I am writing (for the first time for ipk related stuff I think) to you for two purposes. First to ask a question and second to tell you my favorite line or better lines of yours after completing all your stories because that is what made me follow you from wattpad to tumblr. And they are 'If she returned his feelings, if she felt a fraction of what he did, he was unwilling to let her go. They could work through it together. They could overcome everything. He could forgive her anything'. I just looove it. And then I saw some comments in wattpad like why will Arnav forgive her, it's he who did wrong and it should be the other way around and all that I could just feel pity for those souls who haven't understood the depth of these words or generally the title 'Forgive her anything'. Because in my opinion for a man like Arnav to even think along that lines is worth than a thousand I love yous. So thank you for those lines, that title and more importantly for the story.

And now coming to my question, do you think there were scenes or moments in which Barun or Sanaya outshined the other in acting? If yes please give a few examples.

P. S.: This is just a curiosity and my intention is not to create any Fandom wars. So you feel it will feel free to ignore it.

Thank you for understanding so perfectly what I was trying to do with that story haha! It makes me feel very very special. So many people read FHA (and particularly on Wattpad) and spend the entire 28 chapters berating Arnav (essentially) for having emotions.

Also: have you seen how many shatir dimag comments there are on Wattpad?

The sheer number of people who hate-read Forgive Her Anything and Charade is astounding.

Anyhoo, FHA was an exercise in whether he’d get to the same point he did in the serial after kidnap. That it didn’t matter whether she was innocent or not, all that mattered was that she wanted to be with him. This is also where he gets during remarriage -- that he can endure anything, overcome anything, including forever being related to the woman who (indirectly and unknowingly) caused his mother’s death ... all for Khushi.

So the easy answer is Sobti in all the angsty scenes and Irani in all the comedic ones. But let’s make this more interesting -- scenes where Arnav’s comedy outshone Khushi’s and her angst outshone his.

Sobti’s comedy:

The 24-hour challenge, especially when he made Khushi become a TV.

Project Payash, especially “Kya bolun ab?!”

Irani’s angst:

The fight in Episode 196.

The farak padta hai day.

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

This movie is so much fun to watch but honestly makes no sense. From the insta-love between Rahul and Anjali to the way Rohan found them online because there are absolutely no other people named Rahul Raichand in all of London?!! What did everyone study at that university (and how did Rohan gain admission so easily)?? I guess the movie is a study in what life is like for the uber-rich: you don’t have to attend class to pass university, businesses build themselves around you, and your mother has spidey-senses.

And please miss me with the idiocy that was Anjali moving to London to live in a 300 bedroom house with 15 bathrooms just to make fun of white people. You wanna live in these countries and benefit from the lifestyle? Don’t make fun of the people who live there alongside you.

The casting was solid, as was the dialogue, and it’s something everyone should watch at least once. I particularly love the soundtrack, ‘Suraj Hua Maddham’ remains a favourite to this day!!

6/10, it loses one point because this dude in my Grade 8 English class ripped off the “aaj tumne sabit kar diya ki tum mere khoon nahi ho” scene for a creative writing assignment and got full marks.
