18: How does your muse feel about religion?

Alex feels that religion isn’t necessary, and that it would be ideal to have a secular government. However, it’s not his place to say such a thing. And he isn’t one to rip on people that are faithful to their religions.

3: Which parent(or guardian) does your muse prefer?

Alex doesn’t have a mother or a father, biological at least. However when he was younger he too his founder as his family. Same when it came to his founders wife and such. William Penn was not present in the colony that much, but his wife was here. I’m sure he grew very close to her and thought of her as his own mother. Even when William Penn past, she took on his job governing the colony and in turn technically being our first female governor. Though I honestly think he didn’t prefer one over the other :x 

15:What would your muse say to their younger self if they could go back in time?

° = The character’s temperature preferences

Alex likes his house to be at a constant 60 degrees, he loves colder temperatures. It’s better than being hot, and not being able to find relief from that. With colder temperatures, he can bundle up and cuddle under a blanket. Hence, why he has so many throw blankets and quilts in his home. When it’s winter time tho, he likes to keep it at a comfortable 75. Not too warm or hot, just right in the middle. Makes him feel really cozy.

Alex’s mind never allows him to take a break, it’s always buzzing. He often thinks about his work, his patients; how their week is going. He thinks about His loved ones, what they’re up to. But also arbitrary things, like if he locked the doors or if he remembered to feed his cat when he left out.

Crying Breakfast Friends: Last time you cried watching a tv show/movie?

I Had movie night with Delaware and New Jersey not too long ago. Last time we watched a comedy, this time we watched a drama. New Jersey chose The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, which I’ve never seen before. I cried on some parts, it was really good. 

Peedee: The moment you realized you weren’t a kid anymore?

Hm…[rubs his chin] that’s a tough one. Once I was left to my own devices, to be my own person and somehow make a way for myself. When I had to take up arms against a neighbor and actually fight for myself….yeah that was when I realized childhood is gone, time to be an adult. Which for a very long time, I don’t think I was “adulting” right.

Centipeedle: Have you ever helped/rescued a wild animal in trouble?

Animals I used to find in traps as a child. I know people were probably hunting them or something, but I couldn’t help see them suffer from not being killed by the trap. So I would take them out, and sneak them home. Nurse them back to good health and release them.

Ruby: Describe a person who would be the polar opposite to yourself.

( =①ω①=) = What animals the character likes and if they have a pet/pets

Deer are one of his favorite animals, as well as cats and dogs. He also loves frogs and toads too. He does have a pet; a calico cat named Hannah. 

æ = The character and languages (Known or Want to Learn)

Alex knows a handful of languages. Growing up he knew English (of course) and Unami. As he grew older, and speakers of Unami were very few, he kinda lost the grasp of that language. He learned Welsh, French, and a bit of Latin. Latin and French are not that strong in his arsenal like they used to be. But Welsh is pretty strong, as well as Pennsylvania German. He learned Franklin’s Phonetic Alphabet, mostly out of being around the man for some time. But never really had a use for it. 

Currently his languages are English, Welsh, Pennsylvania Dutch. I wanna have him try to learn Esperanto, just to give me reason to use it more, lol.

(・∀・ ) = The character’s emotional state most of the time

Alex is very pleasant most of the time, almost Mister Rogers like, if you will. Though actually the person who inspires his emotional disposition most of the time is my Grandmother on my Dad’s side. Always pleasant, soft spoken, is very difficult to rattle them. 

His emotional state can be described as like...a nice calm autumn day. Not too cold, not too warm, the smell of the leaves on the ground; and you wrapped in a nice cozy blanket enjoying a warm drink.

carreau: do you consider yourself compassionate or harsh to others? why?

I was taught to be compassionate to all. However it depends on the person nowadays. Not everyone is deserving of compassion.

mephistopheles: have you ever helped  a loved one destroy themselves?

[he thinks long and hard about this.] You know, I really can’t recall ever doing that. I try to advise people not to do certain things. But people take offense to me butting into matters that don’t concern me...so....yeah.

astaroth: have you ever falsely accused someone?

Oh YES, many times, mostly in the past. I don’t want to name names, however in those instances...it was really hard for me to admit that I was wrong. Because of how strongly I believed they did these things. Yes, the process of apologizing, was a very difficult one. Especially when it’s someone that’s like a son to you, and they looked up to you a great deal.
