Stealing had become as easy as breathing in Norah's eyes. There were always loopholes in even the most seemingly difficult of tasks. After her first couple of adventures into the world of shoplifting, she invested in a sturdy pair of pliers and learned via youtube tutorials how to pry off a security tag. It really wasn't the hardest thing in the word, which still puzzled Norah, although she was thankful for it.
On this day, she found herself at one of her favorite little shops in downtown Seattle. She made sure not to go into the same store more than once a week, not wanting to raise suspicions of the sales associates. When one would come up to ask her if she needed help, she'd simply reply with a simple "Oh, I'm just waiting for my ride. I hope you don't mind me browsing a bit?" Of course, they wouldn't mind. After all, Norah was a pro at lying through her teeth.
She was just about finished her little task - the purple corduroy jacket under her large, black blazer. Norah had made sure to take all security tags off of the gorgeous piece of clothing (or at least, she thought she did), and was on her way out the door. However, something stopped her. Was - was there a drug deal going on in her favorite store? She watched in disgust as two seemingly honest looking men traded some sort of small bag for money. After the buyer had walked away, Norah marched right up to the much taller man, and as usual, inserted herself into his business.
"You know, I don't think that the manager over there would be very pleased to know that some dirty scumbag has been dealing god-knows-what in her store." she gave him a knowing look, crossing her arms.

There was no way that she was staying at home on a night like this. Even after the police questioned them, she knew this thing wasn't over. There was no way. And she was already driving herself crazy by staying at home worrying about getting a call from them out of the blue. She had cooked and baked for far too long. Tonight, she would do something so out of the ordinary that nobody would even expect to see her there.
Tonight she was going out to the bar.
Sure, she may have gone once or twice, but never by herself and never to get wasted. She was taking a big risk by not going with Nate, or even Mel of all people. She was taking an even bigger risk by drinking alone too, but nothing would stop her. She wanted to get the image of Julia out of her head, get the sounds of her screams out of her dreams. She just wanted to forget it all, no matter the cost.
When she arrived, she walked straight to the bar and ordered a shot of tequila.
¿A dónde querÃa llegar?
It felt good to get out of the office, she had been sorta of going stir crazy and just wanted to avoid everything. Not to mention that this week wasn't the best week for her either. Katelyn was suppose to be celebrating her anniversary this weekend but she wasn't about to think about that. Or at least try not to think about it. So she was going to focus on something other than that, focusing on anything and everything besides the past was her goal but with how things were the past always came back sooner or later. She knew that better than anyone, with all of the deals that she had made. This distraction that Robert was offering was the best she had all day and she was highly thankful for it.Â
Getting into the car, she sighed a little bit, trying her best. Looking over at Robert after he got in. "You are going to have to give me directions on where this diner is, cause I have no idea." She gave him the best smile, that she could. Starting her car, she pulled out and began to drive, at this point she was willing to drive anywhere and everywhere just to get out of the office and away from her troubles and get lost into something or someone other than her crazy life at the moment. Between murders, fires and peoples past, things in the blonde's life was getting pretty crazy and she wasn't just talking about her own past. Ryan's with him being adopted and telling her not to trust anyone. But yet he felt the need to trust, Robert, even though her brother had a complicated situation with him. "So what is the name of this diner anyways?" Katelyn asked, glancing over at him before back to the road.Â
