I Miss Our Little Talks / Rabastan Lestrange & Regulus Black
Rain poured from the skies relentlessly, drumming on the windows, sending reverberations through the walls. It was the only sound in the library, smothering the usual soft âflickâ of pages and the occasional sigh of a tired student. It was white noise, settling around Rabastan like a blanket, and he hated it. Noise, he needed noise. He needed voices and movement and life, because right about now the room felt dead. He slammed down the cover of his textbook, the noise punctuating the hammer of rain and making the girl at the table across from him jump. He made no attempt to smother his smile, earning himself a scowl. Sliding his books back into their place on the shelf behind him, Rabastan grabbed his jumper and pulled it on hastily, eager to leave the uncomfortable quietness. A familiar mop of dark hair caught his eye as he was making a beeline for the door and he stopped in his tracks, nudging Regulus in the shoulder, âDonât tell me you actually want to do whatever homework that is. We can find something better to do, yeah?â
