Nathaniel was not accustomed to being without control - his work required a great amount of financial risk but there was always so much calculation and research involved. It was unfortunate that the same principals couldn’t apply for the pancake. “I read so many recipes and even found some guidance from Michelin chefs, but this is still an entire mystery to me,” he admitted with a sigh, watching how Amatersu handled the batter.

“I gotta get used to that—“ he looks to the newcomer after walking into his home, flopping down on the couch. “Uh, depends. Are you gonna cook?” he picks up his pillow and hugs it against his chest, yawning a bit.

“Mhm!” Aura nodded, smiling brightly at him, “Anything that you want, me and Bao Bao will make it for you.” The puppy gave a little bark before rushing over to lie at Leonard’s feet. He was generally cautious of most males that came into Aura’s life, save for those he had decided were nice enough for his Mummy - but Bao Bao had taken a quick liking to Leonard. It was most likely because he found some similarities in the two siblings, so quickly treated him as family.

“That’s a fair point, darling.” Hyuna laughed. “Though I’ve never actually been on a date with someone who ordered raisin bran… and I’ve been on a lot of dates, trust me.” Aura was, well, Hyuna’s complete opposite. The sweetheart had no experience with love or sex or anything in that area, and Hyuna understood everyone’s need to protect her from all evil.

Someday, someone would have to teach her these things. And perhaps Hyuna would be that someone. Not that she’d seduce Aura, oh no, that was just… weird. No, but Hyuna was an excellent teacher regarding sex. Not romance, but there were more than enough people on this island to take care of that one. “If you’re ever on a date and the person you’re with orders raisin bran… just make sure they have redeeming qualities.”

Hyuna was everything that she was not and, in that aspect, Aura really admired the older girl. She was just so pretty, confident and she knew how to talk to boys - not that Aura had had any thought of talking to a boy that wasn’t a platonic boy friend. She was still waiting for her perfect prince to come along. “But what’s wrong with raisin bran?” she asked with a confused tilt of her head, “Haven’t you tried it before, Hyuna? It’s yummy and it’s actually a pretty health cereal! If my date ordered that, it would mean that he makes sensible decisions.”

The alien padded, bleary eyed into the kitchen following the smell of food.  Here he found Dylan, looking very intent on making something that Tae couldn’t see. “Mmh.” mumbled the non-morning oriented extra-terrestrial as he padded up. “What are you doing?” Coming up closer, he glanced over the other’s shoulder, finding breakfast cooking away on the stove top.  Delighted, Taeyong gave an excited, if sleepy grin.  “You are an amazing person you know that right?  I am incredibly hungry.” Puffing his cheeks in concentration, the space being managed to lift himself onto a nearby free counter, and attempted to achieve full lucidity.

Dylan was staring at the food intensely. Trying very hard not to burn the food, actually make it tasteful. And trying not to fall asleep because he too, wasn’t really a morning person. He was hungry though, and could only imagine the alien was too. So hence why he started to try and make breakfast. “Well good morning sleepy head,” he chuckled softly after seeing the adorable, barely awake, male moving closer. “I am attempting to make breakfast for us,” he chuckled, his eyes barely leaving the food, only glancing at Taeyong shortly. “Why thank you. It should be ready soon though,”
