“What the hell are you talking about?” Hermes was not the type to lose his temper, but Phobos was touching a delicate subject. “What you were proposing was madness! And you knew it! Was you who did not care!” He could not believe he was working with a mad man. Phobos only was interested to see blood, even forgetting they could finish in jail. Hermes was an important CEO, Phobos was only a mad dog chasing a car. “Tell me your plans first, asshole! To see if I want to get in!”

“Love it weird,” was all he said in response.  A lot less profound than the words Phobos had to offer, though not said in any way indicative of whether he thought weird was good or bad.  Just facts.  Easy facts...that’s what Thanatos understood easily.  Love was complicated so he tried to avoid it.  But if he got hurt either way, wouldn’t it make more sense if he stopped trying to fight it?

“No.” This was not the first time Phobos did something like that, ask trust and after, betray him. For some reason, Hermes thought how he can have a knife finishing his life for only turn over and give to Phobos his back. If they were gods, he could use his wings and fly away, but when you are mortal, life is precious. “Whatever you want to do, do it in my face, including kill me.” He said serious, but after he smiled. “But I know you won’t do it: I am who has the key.”
