I don't want Baby Crawley to be named Matthew. Or have his blond hair. I just want him to have Mary's dark hair and Matthew's blue eyes... is that really asking for too much?

I can find meaning in Freddie Lyon’s demise and consequently could get over the cancellation of The Hour. But I can’t put my head around Matthew Crawley’s death and accept that Downton Abbey is continuing without him.

What disappoints me about Matthew's death is how he never really had any huge moral crisis that shows the strength of his character beyond doing "the right thing"

To me, Matthew seems to be the most human of the lot, and I giggle every time I watch him do something that the more uppity members of the household wouldnt. Like flop down on the bed

I'm worried about where series 4 will go. If I watch it, I will miss matthew so much and it will add to my depression seeing mary mourning. If I don't watch it I will miss mary and the baby terribly
