Who: Chandler Alenko, Jake Keaton, Spencer Keaton, Emerson Ellington-MacKenzie (but only because sheâs awesome)
â¨When: Friday night, April 15, 2016
â¨Where: The bar in Brooklyn that Emerson did her performance thing at that Iâve forgotten the name of.
â¨What: Kelenko have been weird. Jazz wants to fix it.
It started because of Em. The idea anyway. Itâs mostly because of her, letâs get this straight right now, that Jazz was even able to do any of this. But really, it starts with a song. Jakeâs words from their earlier conversation that week about their happiness ring in his head as he hears an unfamiliar song drifting from the slightly open door of Emersonâs office. Chandlerâs struck with an idea.
Emerson does most of the talking, since Jazzâs stutter pisses him off enough to make it worse. Though itâs all Jazzâs plans. The venue was Emersonâs idea however. It took two whole days of âovertimeâ for them to get all the arrangements in place. There wasnât much, it wasnât anything extravagant, though Emerson had offered to make it so if thatâs what Chandler wanted. It wasnât, certainly not after heâd seen what the empty bar alone had looked like.
It didnât take much convincing on Emâs part to let them have the bar a few ours before the officially opened for the night. Of course when you waved a checkbook the size of hers around, nothing really did. He realized, as he stood on the stage with Spencer on his hip, that he didnât need much more that his guitar and cue cards (and he really wished he didnât need those either. Though Jake did seem to be okay with the mutism heâs been putting out.) In the end, it probably takes way too long for Jazz to text his fiance the address with instructions to meet him here. But once he did, he started pacing nervously, stuttering his fears to Emerson as she tries to keep Spencer amused.

If they knew all about you, They'd end up loving you too â
Who: Chandler Alenko, Jake Keaton, and introducing Spencer Keaton
â¨When: Four fucking am on Tuesday, March 29, 2016
â¨Where: The Alenko Keaton home.
â¨What: Chandler gets woken up by knocking because baby.
âAlright, arsehole. Iâm coming,â he says with a yawn. âWho the fuck do you think you are? Waking me up in the middle of the night-â Thereâs no one there on the other side of the door. Jazz takes a step forward as he looks down the hall and hits his foot on something hard and plastic. His gaze falls to the ground only briefly as the sound of the stairwell door closing draws his attention. Chandler jumps over the car carrier holding the sleeping baby as he rushes to the stairs. âHey!â he shouts as he shoves the door open. âHey wait!â But the stairwell is seemingly empty, he even goes down a floor to see if he could find whomever it was that thought it was funny to drop a baby off at his flat. But there was no one.
Jazz goes back to his flat, door still wide open, baby blocking his entrance. Heâs not sure what to do, but realizes he probably looks crazy, in nothing but slightly too big pants hanging low on his hips staring at a sleeping baby at four-something in the morning. So, he picks up the blue paisley bag and the carseat and takes both into the apartment. Shutting the door with his foot, he brings the car seat to the table and sets it and the bag on top.
Thereâs a Manila envelope in the front pocket of the diaper bag with Jakeâs name scrawled over-elegantly in thick black sharpie. Inside, thereâs three sheets of paper; a letter addressed to Jake, the birth certificate from the hospital, and the one from the state of New York, as well as his social security card. He looks at it all long enough to discover the babyâs name is Spencer, his motherâs name is Sarah, and at first glance Jakeâs the baby daddy. The letter is crass and bitchy and at one point Chandlerâs referred to as Jakeâs ânew toyâ. Which makes him bristle. Mostly this Sarah chick just chews Jake out for knocking her up and repeatedly says he should have to deal with the consequences of his stupidity and try his hand as a single parent because âyour new toy is bound to leave when he finds out.â
Sometime during the reading, Spencer gets fussy. Chandler doesnât bother to look up as he rocks the seat, shushing under his breath. Spencer hushes. Years of being a foster kid, and helping with the younger kids in both boysâ and foster homes, making themselves known again. He doesnât think heâs ever had to take care of someone as young as four-month-old Soencer. By the time heâs read the note three or four times, itâs no longer an un godly hour and Jazz has to get up in a half hour anyway. His temper get the best of him and, instead of being the nice fiancĂŠ who understands Jake had no idea he appears to have a kid, heâs an ass who goes to wake him up by pulling the blanket off his naked lover. âJake get your ass up. We need to talk.â
We had to try something new. We had to make heads turn. â
TAGGING â Â Chandler Alenko and Jake Keaton
LOCATION â At the movies
TIMEFRAME â Monday night, March 14, 2016
NOTES â Kelenko go on a date to the movies, and not watch the film. Chandler wears a skirt, for the first time ever and in public no less.
Chandler was going to be late. That was the bottom line. The mini fashion show/shopping spree went way past the time allotted, plus Em had somehow managed to convince him that shaving his legs was the greatest idea ever (which it was, just donât tell her that). It actually made him feel more confident, Enough, that heâd finally bought that lingerie heâd been trying to convince himself to. Which is why he was late, because on top of the extra time it took to find his size in a set he liked, he still had to go back to their apartment and drop off all of his shopping bags. (So maybe he or Emerson bought more than he really needed...)
So, now he was rushing through Midtown Manhattan to meet his boyfriend at the the theater to...not watch something. Jakeâs continuous stream of messages was not helping. But at least they were trying to pick out a movie. Jakeâs not hard to spot, even with his back turned. He was a 6â˛4â˛â fucking giant after all. Jazz stands on the tip of his toes to cover Jakeâs eyes from behind. âBefore I let you turn around, love, you have to promise you wonât laugh. Okay? I wanted to do something special for you, since I kinda figured you were into it.â
Tagging: Ryder and Jake (wrongside-ryder & outsiderjake)
Place: School
Time: 9/28, Around the end of school
Notes: Ryder and Jake catch up and talk about a certain Mayorâs plans
Ryder:Â
Ryder was almost done with his day and he was more than happy to get out of school. By the time the weekend had been over, heâd at least managed to finish all of the homework that heâd fallen behind on over the previous week. Sure, it wasnât the best way to spend a weekend but, at least heâd had time with his friends, especially Jake. It had been fun for them to just shoot hoops and talk about the good old days when Jake hadnât had to go across town to play ball with him. Ryderâd won, but just barely; he was taller but Jake was arguably better and it had been a very close game. He hadnât been able to ask Jake about what he thought about the whole Dalton thing; theyâd been too focused on schoolwork and then the game. But the more he heard about it, the more he  worried that the whole Dalton thing would ruin things. He sent Jake a text, âDude, meet me at the gym?â

It had been a long, dreary day. The rain had begun to pour down around her at about noon, and had yet to stop even as the sky began to darken into dusk. Even on a regular day, finding food was difficult; she had water, of course, six bottles full in the bottom of her pack, but that wouldnât matter if she couldnât find any food. With a huff, she grabbed her dagger from the sheath on her hip and slid out from her cover beneath a thick, hollowed out fallen tree. The rain soaked her within seconds, drenching her in a coldness that seeped down into her bones.Â
She ignored it.Â
Days like these, rabbits and other woodland creatures often would find shelter much the same as humans. She need only look harder, in every crevasse between the trees, every hole in the ground. Something would be found, sooner or later.Â
It felt as if hours had passed when she stumbled across it; the gap in the trees. She had been buried in the woods for so long she had almost forgotten what a road looked like. Or the sound of a car.Â
She was standing in the middle of the road when she finally realized what the noise was, but by then, the looming hunk of metal was almost on top of her.
