✖.▐░          ❝ okay, you just sit, ❞ jaebum instructed his dongsaeng as he patted a spot on the couch.  ❝ i’ll... i’ll go get stuff, ❞ he muttered somewhat incoherently as he walked off. comforting people was not something he was ever good at, but for his jinyoungie, he’d definitely try his best. a few minutes later he returned with arms full of blankets, snacks, and a picture frame. jaebum tossed the blankets onto jinyoung before setting the other things down.

After dark, the city comes alive, and when Minwoo doesn’t have a job to do, he enjoys wandering. He’s lived in Seoul his whole life, in various places for various times, but there’s always something more to see, or something that wasn’t here before. So he wanders, and he likes it, gleaning a certain amount of satisfaction out of the way he can get lost but never fail to find his way home again.

But tonight is not a night purely for wandering. He’s just finished a case, a rather successful one at that, and Minwoo is looking celebrate. He just needs to find a place. He knows there’s one nearby, knows it’s a bar, and a club, and something more all smashed into one building, but he’s never actually been inside, nor has he ever had a reason...until tonight.

It doesn’t take long. Minwoo’s mental map of the city is a good one, and it only takes perhaps twenty minutes for him to sight the building. He doesn’t hestate at the door, and heads for the bar without pause. Rather than be unnerved by the stares he receives from patrons and employees alike, Minwoo makes his way over to an empty barstool and slips up onto it. While he waits, his focus drifts to the wall behind the bar, and to a row of bottles there. He’s halfway through the tequilas when a body drifts into view, forcing Minwoo to straighten up, even if only marginally.

Kikwang somewhat knew Jaebum was having exams soon, but still he wanted to see the male. But no matter how much he called, his boyfriend wouldn’t answer his phone, much less reply to text messages. And so he decided to visit him, and make sure he was doing okay. But mostly he wanted to see his boyfriend’s face and hear his voice. He was let in by the servants, and climbed up the stairs towards Jaebum’s room. When he knocked all he coud hear was a low groan and heavy footsteps. The blond stepped back a little when the doors opened - Jaebum was standing in front of him, disheveled and tired. And he got more and more irritated by just looking at the angel. Instead of ‘hey’ or anything else he was greeted with ‘I told you I was busy’, and watched the male retreating back. "You didn’t tell me anything…" The angel mumbled ynder his breath and reached out to close the door. Clearly he wasn’t welcomed, so he didn’t even try, and turned around to walk downstairs again, said goodbye to the one maid, then walked out. He felt like crying for some reason…

✖. ▐░          for the first few moments,  jaebum didn't even seem to notice how he was acting towards his boyfriend/ he didn't mean to be this hostile, but he was used to acting this way to people, so sometimes it just seemed normal to him. he just let kikwang walk out of his room while he made his way back over to the desk to continue studying.

          the longer he sat there, however, the more uneasy he felt. his eyes couldn't seem to focus and there was something tugging at him, telling him to get his ass back up. and then he heard the door downstairs close. with a sudden jolt, he got up quickly and raced down the stairs. slipping shoes on, he whipped the door open and jogged up to his boyfriend.
