first, strange corners of the internet. now? spooky halloween rides. there comes a point in every friendship where won starts to wonder what someone’s intentions with him are, usually whether their kindness feels more like pity than anything else or if they’re trying to be as manipulative as he can be, but this time, he’s beginning to think his and yena’s friendship orbits a strange sense of discomfort and uncertainty. he won’t say it’s an unwanted discomfort, instead a feeling of being pushed out of your comfort zone to experience new things, but a discomfort nonetheless. 

rides aren’t something won really finds more enjoyment in; his heart doesn’t quite race in excitement the way he knows it’s supposed to, but he won’t say no either, especially with a prize to be won at the end of it all. besides, it’s a good evening out to relieve training stress and show off he and mingyu’s pseudo ( depending on your standpoint ) couple costumes, so there’s really no excuse not to go. he drops himself down into the seat, however, greeting her with a warm but hesitant smile as they wait for the rest of the cart to slowly fill and for final checks to begin before they can take off. he’s not very good at reading people, but from the fact yena hadn’t said anything to him yet, he thinks something’s at least a little off.
