To say that Pacey’s life has been hectic since the bombing would be an understatement. The little control he had on his life before was gone and everything was so new. The roommates, the paperwork, everything had to be redone, be refiled and fixed and it was driving the man insane.
He needed a break.
The overseer stood from his desk, the scattered sheets of asset files cluttering his desk in a way he never let happen. It was making him itchy, making him want to turn and run from everything but he couldn’t. He needed to get this shit sorted. Eventually.
Pacey walked from his office, headed out into the slave commons and sat himself on one of the couches, eyes flickering to the TV that had been turned off. Some old Lifetime movie was playing and the man decided to enjoy it for a few moments, turning his head when he heard footsteps echoing down the hall. “Feel free to change it, I won’t be lingering out here for much longer.”
