Another ripper house party album from the Blue Mountains best 🥶🧊
13 years is too long to wait. In any case, there are several moments of brilliance showcased in this fourth LP from the local lads. They're undeniably one of Australia's best prog bands, I just don't know if they're metal any more. Plenty of melody, lots of inoffensive passages, which unfortunately just bore the fuck outta me. It's half brilliant and half meh. Sad but true.

This homegrown (Aussie) talent is buttery smooth on the vocals with references to Anderson Paak and D'Angelo. World class jams right here 🛫
The additions from this LP into their live set are going to be killer. However, as a recording project it's under cooked and doesn't work. I salute the risk taking though.
Producing a career defining album after a 14 year recording absence, yep they did that. The breadth of sounds deployed on this album is incredible and a left field surprise departure from their signature sound that nobody expected. Bravo lads 🫡🫡🙂↕️
