".'..Guess you just have strange taste in women.'
Angel didn't hesitate. 'Yeah, well what can I say? I like 'em sane.'
Nice comeback, Willow decided, even worth it when Faith got ticked and tightened her steel-enhanced stranglehold. She could have just pinched herself for the little whimper that escaped, though.
'Angel,' she heard Oz warn quietly.'"
It's just really funny to me that Willow hates Faith so much here, that she's thrilled that Angel insults her--not even caring that Faith might do to her for it, while she has her in her hold--Oz does, though.
Also hilarious, of course, since Angel and Faith later become besties. And if we want to talk comics, Willow and Faith also become good friends in that. Heck, I swear it was even leaning towards more than friends with them, perhaps. There's even a moment where Willow is more okay with Faith than she is with Angel in the comics, because of things he does in S8, but everyone is peachy with each other again by the end.
But like I said: I just find this funny, and also almost a nice little Angel and Willow friendship moment?
Oz and Willow pretty much saying the same exact thing about their feelings, when Oz had to break up with Willow after she cheated on him (though there, he's saying he's willing to give it another shot: because being away from her hurts too much)--and then Willow saying this about her and Oz's breaking up again, after they tried things once more and then he cheated on her, and then left.
